Whooooooooo hooo. I am so excited. He is my first kitty that is ALL mine and not a family kitty. He is tiny and all black. His name was Phoenix when I got him, a name that I was actually considering so I thought it was a good coincidence. However...after hearing his loud purr I decided that Harley might fit him a little better! If anyone has a good idea for a name or thinks Harley or Phoenix would be better e-mail me! If only I could have gotten his little twin brother I could have used both names!! YAY i'm so happy today. :) Shari ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 30 Sep 2003 13:06:30 EDT From: Sharonda220@aol.com Subject: NPR --->___<---- Hey Everyone I guess that I was pretty lucky in High School .... a lot of my friends were gay or experimenting at the time and I do remember a few of them getting teased or bothered by people but I think for the most part they were left alone. I know that a lot of people thought that my best friend and I were gay because we knew people who were and were comfortable enough with our sexuality to kiss each other or make up fake marriages etc. I personally never got teased about this, maybe because most people who got close to us found out otherwise. Some of my gay guy friends did get teased by one guy in particular..... but he actually went back up to them later and apologized to them. He actually died recently so it was really sad. Our school had a gay/lesbian alliance thing so maybe it was because we had enough people to form a club that it wasn't so bad??? I'm sorry for anyone who had to go through that!! However life after high school is a LOT better..... I know that doesn't help now.... BUT regarding the principal....isn't there laws being passed around the country about a person's right to safe passage at school? I thought that the principal etc who does not take action after complaints can get into a lot of trouble...
