Maroon 5, Liz Phair, Seal and DURAN DURAN! Of course I went to see all the artists, but especially Duran Duran since they hold a dear place in my heart. This was super exiting as all 5 original members were there reunited for the first time in 20 years. (Who else hasn't heard this story?) Well, it was HOT. And not only the music. I got heatstroke before D2 was supposed to go on stage and spent most of their set outside of the park where it was nice and shady but you could still hear the music great. I heard Maroon 5 from the line to get inside the park. They sounded good, but I would have liked to see the on stage. (It took an hour in line to get inside the park!) Liz had a cool set. She tried to sneak in a little H.W.C. but since this was a family event couldn't get farther than the first verse. I'd love to see her in a club, instead of with 15,000 people that most weren't there for her. Seal was good. I'm really not too into him, but I heard all his radio hits and it was a good show. Duran Duran was great. I've seen them 3 times since '93. This was a fun show. It sounded like they enjoyed themselves. I could go on and on, but I won't bore you. Hope everyone had a great weekend!
