Don't get me wrong, he made a great show live, but the rage people...didn't. As for Corgan, I think he rocks but don't really know what he could do if he went truly solo and just him and an instrument, that's never really been his style. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 17 Sep 2003 15:17:25 +0000 From: "matthew clark" Subject: Re: NPR: Zwan no more I'll agree, there are acoustic demos out there of just Billy and a guitar. The Machina Acoustic Demos, Adore Demos, Mellon Collie Demos as well all mostly just have Billy. All of the Demo are incredibly good as well. >From: CountingSpiders@aol.com >To: speaky10k2@hotmail.com, angry-psychos@smoe.org >Subject: Re: NPR: Zwan no more >Date: Wed, 17 Sep 2003 10:56:24 EDT > > >That's just not true...being a HUGE Pumpkins fan for years and years I've >come across SO many demos and quiet little solo performances Billy's >done...just >him and an instrument's always been what ultimately Corgan's bands revolve >around -- we just don't normally get to hear it once they go into the >studio. > >In a message dated 9/16/03 11:46:56 AM Eastern Daylight Time, >speaky10k2@hotmail.com writes: >I liked Cornell's solo stuff, at least a lot better than his Audioslave >stuff. Yes, that is good news. I did read somewhere (/. maybe?) the the President has threatened to veto this. He has yet to use his veto since he took office so whether this will happen or not us still up in the air. If I remember correctly, to overturn a veto, Congerss would need a 2/3 majority vote to overturn it. Tthis was passed with a 55/40 vote. So clearly Congress does not have this majority as of now. Write your congressmen. Esepcially if they voted against it. >From: Rach2414@aol.com >To: angry-psychos@smoe.org >Subject: Good news!! >Date: Tue, 16 Sep 2003 19:05:12 EDT >MIME-Version: 1.0 >Received: from mc11-f6.hotmail.com ([65.54.167.13]) by mc11-s5.hotmail.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(5.0.2195.5600); Tue, 16 Sep 2003 16:07:10 -0700 >Received: from smoe.org ([199.201.145.78]) by mc11-f6.hotmail.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(5.0.2195.5600); Tue, 16 Sep 2003 16:06:00 -0700 >Received: from smoe.org (ident-user@localhost [127.0.0.1])by smoe.org (8.12.9/8.12.9) with ESMTP id h8GN5Xcp026636for ; Tue, 16 Sep 2003 19:05:33 -0400 (EDT) >Received: (from majordom@localhost)by smoe.org (8.12.9/8.12.9/Submit) id h8GN5XsA026635for angry-psychos-outgoing; Tue, 16 Sep 2003 19:05:33 -0400 (EDT) >Received: from imo-d06.mx.aol.com (imo-d06.mx.aol.com [205.188.157.38]) by smoe.org (8.12.9/8.12.9) with ESMTP id h8GN5Scp026629 for ; Tue, 16 Sep 2003 19:05:31 -0400 (EDT) >Received: from Rach2414@aol.com by imo-d06.mx.aol.com (mail_out_v36_r1.1.) id p.3f.221ce717 (3972) for ; Tue, 16 Sep 2003 19:05:13 -0400 (EDT) >X-Message-Info: oPbp7me323TlVIIpKrLPfWYkcD+EAWmVxen4Eq1kMs4= >Message-ID: <3f.221ce717.2c98f128@aol.com> >X-Mailer: 8.0 for Windows sub 910 >X-Spam-Status: No, hits=2.8 required=5.0 tests=FROM_ENDS_IN_NUMS,HTML_10_20,HTML_MESSAGE, MIME_LONG_LINE_QP,NO_REAL_NAME version=2.53 >X-Spam-Level: ** >X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.53 (1.174.2.15-2003-03-30-exp) >X-Virus-Scanned: clamdscan / ClamAV version 0.60 >X-Virus-Scanned: clamdscan / ClamAV version 0.60 >X-Converted-To-Plain-Text: from multipart/alternative by demime 0.97c-p1 >X-Converted-To-Plain-Text: Alternative section used was text/plain >Sender: owner-angry-psychos@smoe.org >Precedence: bulk >X-To-Unsubscribe: Send mail to "angry-psychos-request@smoe.org" >X-To-Unsubscribe: with "unsubscribe" as the body. >Return-Path: owner-angry-psychos@smoe.org >X-OriginalArrivalTime: 16 Sep 2003 23:06:01.0800 (UTC) FILETIME=[190A6480:01C37CA7] > > >Remember the e-mail Poe sent out about the petition?
