["Pierce, Marshall" Subject: Re: Subject: KPR: COTS single + Conjure One/Delerium concert Just got back from the San Francisco show. Spotted a guy in a Poe shirt! The same green one they were selling at the local Depeche Mode show. Glad to hear you guys are going to see CO/Delerium despite the lack of Poe on the tour. We had five awesome women on stage at our show, I think they outnumbered the guys. Kickass! Not enough women in electronic music. And may I remind you guys that the Delerium bassist, Leah, is formerly from Abandoned Pools. If you saw em open for Garbage and noticed her then, you'll be glad to hear she goes up front and center for a song ;) There was a tour manager type person there who reminded us of Craig. I don't think it was him, but since the guy is probably also hired from Nettwerk, it was pretty funny, especially since Bimbo's is the same place Poe played in 2001. They were selling lots and lots of CDs, but not the Conjure One singles, just the album. I believe they were gonna all sign afterward, but we didn't stick around. We were thinking we could find out from Chemda what that durn word is in COTS, the "market of a -----" something or other at the end of the verses. Still wasn't clear while she was singing it. Someone ask her please ;) Chemda did a pretty good job with Poe's and Sinead's vocals. Stick around for Delerium's set, there are fluffy visuals, great vocalists and really good music, not repetetive weird stuff like you might think if you're not into electronic music. And the tickets are cheap, so go have fun! - --Michele ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 07 Sep 2003 15:41:02 -0400 From: "Jennifer Hammond" Subject: TAKE ME OFF THE LIST! Well here's my two cents, but it may turn into a good thousand dollars for all I know. We will now and forever be surrounded half truths if you want to call them that, maybe 9/11 is no execption. Hey maybe they did have an idea about everything in advance, maybe this whole thing was rigged, maybe Osamas actually pushing dasies as we speak. Personally I could give a rats ass about maybes, I only know what was and it was a bleak and gloomy picture on my end filled with great sorrow and tremendous anger. For me, 9/11 stands out as the moment that finalizes 2001 and 23 being the worst year of my life, there's still alot in my system that's in that I just want out but can't get it out unfortunatley. Let's face it, the whole middle east is a giant clusterf#@$ and I nor anyone else has any real idea how to fix it up. As for Dubbya, its the ultimate d ouble edge sword. I'll say straight up I didnt vote for the guy and I think the election is a scam, but at the same time i'll admit to backing him while everything was happening, cause just as much when Bubba was in office this was attempted again and again and he was sitting there letting Monica hob his knob while it was all happeneng when he could of taken care of it all way back when. Just as much, Senior could of and should of finished what he started in Iraq back in his days. Here it is again, the half truths. Dubya's "doing what he can" to take out terrorism in the world, thats great, yet here he is making a hypocritical statement saying he wants a Palestinian nation created while they constantly suicide bomb Israel, and thats not terrorism how? Like it or not Saddam had to be taken out for just that reason, this guy was funding terrorism but again we go back to two things - as I had just said maybe if daddy had taken care of the problem way back when we wouldn't have a mass of the world hating us right now, and did we honestly fight this war with getting Saddam out as our first priorty? Id say just about as much as how we fought the Civil War to free blacks and fought World War 2 to save Jews. It sure as all hell wasn't the priorty or even a big concern but it was acomplished along the way. France wants to call us war mongeres, ok so who was one of if not the biggest provider of weapons to Iraq? It's a ton of half truths and in all honesty its a big mess in the end. All I know is this though, I will now and forever stand firmly behind the United States, I know were not perfect but if anyone else has a better idea please speak now or forever hold your peace.
