I changed my e-mail address (finally got a Cable/DSL connection, woo hoo!). The only thing that changed was the server name from jadeshamrock@mindspring.com To: jadeshamrock@comcast.net Anybody know of a good, reliable, virus-free way to download burnable MP3's? I just found out how Sh*tty Kazaa is, thankfully before I installed it. Many thanks, ~D ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 23 May 2003 12:04:56 -0500 (Central Daylight Time) From: Ashley Martindale Subject: NPR: try imesh, you can download everything from programs to mp3's. It is a lot like the old Napster, but with a lot more stuff...like you can download ANY type of file from people, even stuff like Windows XP. You can also screen MP3s for minimum bitrate and connection speed...and do multiple sources for the same download too. Plus, WinMX is the only file sharing program that NEVER used any spyware at all. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 23 May 2003 17:36:05 -0700 (PDT) From: Brendles Subject: Re: E-mail Address Changed After dismal results with Kazaa light and Morpheus, I took my fellow AP's recommendation and D/L WinMX last year. I've had no problems, it's simple to use, and has a decent selection of files to choose from. I've even been able to recreate my old Suburban Lawns collection from the users there. I second KK's advice! Bren KrodKnid@aol.com wrote:WinMX is the best. I have even gotten Windows 98, Win98SE, Several versions of Windows XP Professional (including the "corporate" edition which needs no activation, though Microsoft is taking steps to screw the illegal copies), and several versions of Windows 2000 Professional. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 23 May 2003 23:48:42 EDT From: KrodKnid@aol.com Subject: Re: E-mail Address Changed In a message dated 5/23/2003 8:36:31 PM Eastern Daylight Time, brendles@prodigy.net writes: > After dismal results with Kazaa light and Morpheus, I took my fellow AP's > recommendation and D/L WinMX last year.
