We visited the House Of Blues in Downtown Disney and saw Jason Mraz live. I had on my Poe shirt and as we were leaving a guy came up to me and said "I love her!! She's awsome, I wish more people knew about her," and a woman who was passing by told me that she listened to her also. It made me feel really happy. ~Dre Yahoo! Definately yummie happy foods are what we need! Like french fries (note: that is not meant as a comment on current events) and neopolitan ice cream and Jelly Bellys and a meat-zza (that's an all meat pizza) and wash it all down with Wild Cherry Pepsi! Please, don't think I'm trying to be sarcastic on this post. I'm trying to think happy thoughts right now 'cos of a bad week. ===== Adahlfin Yahoo! Right now, I am posting this because of the mood I'm in. I don't know what this message will become, nor do I completely know why I feel like posting this. If you don't feel sincerely about what I'm posting, please don't reply. What to say, now. Music, I guess, is an acceptable topic. Has anyone heard the placebo that comes out tomorrow? Is it worth buying? In the past week I've begun receding into the state where I cannot be impressed by music. I doubt this is because of the music being worse--I'm even feeling less when I listen to Haunted. I'm thinking about just ignoring the existance of music for a week or two. Yep. That's about it... _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 with e-mail virus protection service: 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/virus ------------------------------ Date: 01 Apr 2003 00:47:09 -0500 From: Divinity Subject: Poe news >From Rolling Stone: http://www.rollingstone.com/news/newsarticle.asp?nid=23819 New CDs: Poe, Placebo Folk Singer/Rock Musician/Vocalist Poe announced today her plans to release a full box set including her two released albums, and approximately 9 hours of additional tracks she has recorded in the past 8 years since her debut album "Hello." The 60-70 tracks (it's still unsure exactly how many will make the cut) will include fully recorded songs, singles, b-sides, demos, live performances, and jam sessions. "After long negotiations, Atlantic is finally letting me get this stuff out onto the streets," Poe said in her first interview in months, after being let go from the Atlantic Records. "I've put my heart and soul into this music and all I want is for it to be heard." The box set is slated to be released in August of 2003. A limited collector's edition is also expected, which will contain additional LPs of Poe's two albums and a copy of "House of Leaves," the book written by Poe's brother, Mark Danielewski. Poe says that "House of Leaves" had a large influence on her album "Haunted" and that a film adaptation of this story of a strange and haunted house is in in the works. <> - -- Divinity ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 1 Apr 2003 00:46:01 EST From: KrodKnid@aol.com Subject: Re: angry-psychos-digest V8 #71 In a message dated 3/31/03 9:07:46 PM Eastern Standard Time, adahlfin@yahoo.com writes: << a meat-zza (that's an all meat pizza) >> I used to get one of those at SDS Pizza called a "carnivore".
