By the end I was seriously in tears at which point I forwarded it to all my friends =oD Ironic? YOU BET! A letter about how someone hates forwards, forwarded to people... damn right. So all of you can expect to receive this forward in about the next week to a year. You're welcome! We can certainly use a more tactful approach informing people that nearly 100% of all these chain emails are junk, but that does not mean we should not inform them at all. And is society becoming colder? Really? I can't remember the last time I saw an event where lions devoured a human being. Or went to a public execution. Or a stoning. Oh yeah, never. As far as helping people, I donate blood, money, food, and at this time of year toys to help people I will most likely never meet. But back to the email issue: Like a child who tries to make his own breakfast, and in doing so creates a terrible mess. Do we applaud his initiative without teaching him how to clean up after himself? Is that how we are supposed to operate as a society? Let the ignorant continue in their ways without trying to teach them? I know that is a bit of a far fetched analogy, but it helps bring out my point. It's ignorance. Not in a bad way, but just uninformed. I remember falling for the chain letter BS back when I was in junior high. If I hadn't been enlightened back then, I may be one of these people clogging inboxes today. Ok, I'll step off my soapbox and retire to my cubicle, Later all, Happy Holidays and POE ROCKS!
