That's right! I've decided to remake the site as an online casino! Just kidding. Actually, if I had my way I'd fry each on-line casino server to little black bits. But anyway. So a new design is in the works! The new site promises faster loading, more information, a less graphically based look (though I won't get rid of it all), and a bigger better gallery! Of course all of this will take some time to put together, but I'm a quick worker, and I'm reading House of Leaves for the third time to keep up my spirits and inspire me. I'll let you all know as soon as I release the new goods, til then happy reading/listening. I feel they will be intrigued with the prospect of a brother and sister celeb team, and it shouldn't come as any surprise that they would try to explore ideas most of us don't think about. I don't think the HS team will be prepared for the cutting edge caliber intelligence that Poe & Mark would bring to their appearance. The HS team will most certainly try to make it as awkward as possible, I'm betting that the superior wit of Poe & Mark will leave Howard an admiring fan. sp00k etc ... - --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 17 Dec 2002 14:29:58 EST From: Dan98908@aol.com Subject: Re: Win Fred's Money Hello usscvn65@frontiernet.net, In reference to your comment: h While Poe may not have anything to market at the h moment, it appears the door is open, and if the h chemistry is right, I would think that when Poe does h have something new that Howard would have Poe h & Mark back with open arms. I think the idea is an outstanding one. The biggest reason why I fear it would not work is because Poe seems uninterested in a public life for the time being. According to Poe interviews, and both Brian and Titus (her past and maybe present sound guys),she has well over a full release of songs mixed and ready for release, that has been the case for more then 9 months. Actually Poe has quite a bit to market and a most generous offer on the table by one of the best labels in the industry. In the last year she has fired her accountant, her booking agency ( one of the best in the world), and is not speaking to her mentor and long time friend to whom she is contracted for three more releases. She has some VERY powerful industry types solidly in her corner. Paul Fishkin, Danny Goldberg and the Angry Psychos. There are at least two more singles on Haunted and a new CD that only has to have Poe's signature to be released. The tour money is there and has been on the table for nearly a year. Poe has NOT said "no" to any of this, but neither will she say yes, nor will she even have dialog with anyone to tell them what she would want to start sharing her music again. When her current label or her would be label have asked her what she wants she refers them to her attorney. They have no answers and are waiting for Poe's decision as well. She is no longer even answering her industry supporters calls or mail. I promised I would maintain the Las Vegas arrangements until Dec 15. I have sent proposals to everyone in Poe's organization, including directly to Poe, she has refused to respond in ANY way! Same has with her record deal, she won;t even say NO, let alone yes. Nor does she appear interested in dialog. I am hoping that this is just a repeat of how it was between Hello and Haunted. She didn't need anyone so she stayed underground. Once Haunted came out and she needed us again she was there for us. Perhaps someday she will need someone again and I am sure we will all be there for her...again. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 17 Dec 2002 14:50:55 EST From: Dan98908@aol.com Subject: NPR: Paging TonyC and EdH If you guys are reading this could you email me your current phone numbers and/or email addresses. My mother is typing this for me, because I can't. She is crying. The reason she is so sad is because I'm so sick. I was born without a body. All I have is a head. It doesn't hurt, except when I try to breathe. The doctors gave me an artificial body. It is a burlap bag filled with leaves. The doctors said that was the best they could do on account of us having no money or insurance. I would like to have a body transplant, but we need more money. Mommy doesn't work because she said nobody hires crying people. I said,"Don't cry, Mommy," and she hugged my burlap bag. Mommy always gives me hugs, even though she's allergic to burlap and it makes her sneeze and chafes her real bad. I hope you will help me. Please help me. You can help me if you forward this email to everyone you know. Forward it to people you don't know, too. Dr. Johansen said that for every person you forward this email to, Bill Gates will team up with AOL and send a nickel to NASA. With that funding, NASA will collect prayers from school children all over America and have the astronauts take them up into space so that the angels can hear them better. Then they will come back to earth and go to the Pope, and he will take up a collection in church and send all the money to the doctors. The doctors could help me get better then. I love baseball. Maybe one day I will be able to play baseball. Right now I can only be third base. Every time you forward this letter, the astronauts can take more prayers to the angels and my dream will be closer to coming true. Please help me. Mommy is so sad, and I want a body. I don't want my leaves to rot before I turn 10. If you don't forward this email, that's okay. Mommy says you're a mean and heartless communist bastard who doesn't care about a poor little boy with only a head. She says that if you don't stew in the raw pit of your own guilt-ridden stomach, she hopes you die a long slow, horrible death and then burn forever in hell. What kind of cruel person are you that you can't take five minutes to forward this to all your friends so that they can feel guilt and shame about ignoring a poor, bodiless nine-year-old boy? Do you hate all little boys who have no body or just me? Thank You, Billy "Smiles" Evans P.S.
