(AP) -- Less than 24 hours before playing Navy in probably their final game, neither Aris Comeaux nor guard Alex Moore wanted to spend much time thinking about their football careers at Army. It was not the time to be distracted or get sentimental. There would be time for that Saturday afternoon after Army (1-10) and Navy (1-10) play at Giants Stadium in the 103rd meeting between the service academies. "I really haven't had time to sit back and reflect on it," Comeaux said Friday. "After the season is over, I'll have time to reflect. I don't want to do that now, there is still one game to play." The buildup has been continuous at both schools with pep rallies, spirit dinners and an assortment of pranks. Navy's mascot is missing in action. While Army held its walk through in the bubble next to Giants Stadium, Navy players boarded buses for a trip to Ground Zero in New York City. Navy coach Paul Johnson said he wanted his players to understand what they might be fighting for someday. Moore said that's what makes the game so special for the players. It's about more than football. "There is so much more added significance because of what goes on after the game and at the academies," Moore said. "It's like two brothers in the same house, who have grown up and done everything the same, the same academics, the same military requirements. "Now it's the backyard brawl. That's what adds significance. It more than a football game. It's a rivalry felt throughout the world. Sure there are other rivalries, but this is the only one felt worldwide with our troops all over the place." Army has won 11 of the last 16 meetings to take a 49-46-7 lead in the series. The Cadets jumped to a 13-0 first-quarter lead last year en route to a 26-17 win. "This is the game you keep in the back of your mind all year," Navy quarterback Craig Candeto said. "This is simply the big game of the season. You don't focus on it all year, you focus on the game at hand. Now is the time to focus on this game, so it's nice." This will be the fourth Army-Navy game at Giants Stadium. Navy has won two of three, including a 39-7 win in 1997. The only loss was in 1993 when freshman Ryan Bucchianeri missed an 18-yard field goal in the closing seconds in a 16-14 loss. Navy is riding a 10-game losing streak this season, including heartbreaking losses to Notre Dame 30-23 and Wake Forest in two of its last three games. Army lost its first eight games before beating Tulane 14-10. The pregame festivities start at 9:35 a.m. with a march by the corps of Cadets. The Midshipmen will march 30 minutes later. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:20 p.m. sp00k etc ...
