Rarely does an artist move from a major label to an indie one unless they start the labels themselves. Of course there are exceptions, but I doubt this will be the case for poe. Great thought though, that would rule. Poe will find an awesome label that promotes her to the fullest! I think a lot of people think she is having a hard time finding a label. I heard from Dan a while back that a lot of labels want Poe and she is looking for the right one for her that understands her music...or something to that effect. peace conor - ----- Original Message ----- From: "super sara" To: Sent: Wednesday, September 11, 2002 2:50 PM Subject: just a thought > > i was just sitting here and i thought to myself "how cool would it be if POE > was signed to the Righteous Babe lable" i dunno, it was jsut a thought. > > Feather > > > _________________________________________________________________ > Join the worlds largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. > http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 11 Sep 2002 20:22:28 +0000 From: "Anthony J Hoffmann" Subject: Poeparazzi Pic Sitiuation P+E was nice enough to send me an e-mail explaining that the pictures weren't even labeled during the tour (I didn't know), and they're trying to sort them out as quick as they can, but there are something like 900+ pictures, so... I could care less if it took another year, as long as I get the pics eventually, you know ;) She said Angie would notify the winners with a solution, so I am appeased. Jack Johnson) Since the major labels are still holding on to Bubble gum disposable music to make money. Now they don't get a big break from the media as easily as the MCA, Geffen, Universal, ect. Labels. But the word of mouth media still gets them famous. So seeing Poe sighed onto Righteous Babe or another Indie Label isn't so hard to imagine. They usually strip the attached virus, but some of them get through. Nobody can get it from you unless you download the file and click it. I want to make sure i'm doing this right. Norton catches it and sends it to quarentine. It can't be fixed so I select Delete from the menu. Norton then askes "Do you want to delete this file from quarentine forever?" or something like that. I click on yes. Does that delete it from my computer? I don't open attachments at all btw. ------------------------------ End of angry-psychos-digest V7 #258 ***********************************
