["Debian Linux" Subject: NPR: Baton Rouge, Are you out there..? I've recently been informed that the software developement company I work for will be relocating to Baton Rouge, LA. Considering the significant opportunity this could afford me, I am seriously considering moving with them. So, firstly, who are the LAPs and which ones of you are in BTR? I've visited Shreveport once. I'm in Nashville, TN and AFAIK I'm the only AP in my city though there are few TAPs. I need some relevant info like, "Where the best clubs, restaurants, parties, parks, etc. are" and "How bad are the police". Whatever you think is pertinent from your point of view. http://www.mazerecruiters.com/ shows that the costs of living are extremely similar. Anyway... Hot hot hot.... I'm south of you and east of Baton Rouge, in Montgomery, Alabama. It's very hot and humid there, much like hell minus the smoke. You'll be only 45 minutes away from Matri Gras I think. The cops aren't that bad, they love speeders but they mostly try not to leave the shady spot they find inder the bridges. > I've recently been informed that the software developement company I work > for will be relocating to Baton Rouge, LA.
