Subject: WCAP: Poe(Cover) Band(Oceanside/SanDiego)

I have bee watig to do this for a very, VERY long time now and am just now 
starting to gain the means to do so. This is a shout out to all the musicians 
i the San Diego/Oceanside area. My insrumet is my voice. So I'm looking for 
the other pieces to the set!(drums, guitarist, bassist, etc...) I am very 
serious about doing this. Our speciality would be Poe songs(although other 
songs would always be welcome!!) Age is no matter....as long as the passion 
is there.

If anyone at all is interested, please email me privately and we can start 
geting this show on the road!! ;-)

Does anyone know if there are any Poe screen prints out there? I'm currently 
making clothes for my babys soon-to-be arrival and thought it would be 
precious to have a lil' Baby Psycho!!
Any help on this?!? Anyone know any companies that make special order screen 
prints?

it always scares me to see stuff like this, but since its Poe i thought id
actually say something about it. i dunno if everyone caught the thread about
fans, but we have a pretty big say in what an artist does. it may sound
ridiculous but its true. if you need an example, check out ani. her "fans"
bristle at anything and have boycotted her for everything, even being married.
so when someone brings up the topic of selling out, im always afraid that
people are going to set hardcore beliefs and stirke out at Poe if she goes
against them (i.e. being a cover girl). i want to see Poe win a grammy asap
and if playing "walk the walk" in a shoe commercial (cute idea) will do it
then by all means, bring it on. i think sometimes "underground" artists run
into this problem because fans expect artists to live up to certain things and
play by their rules. these artists touch us so deeply that sometimes we may
want to keep them to ourselves. that is sooo crippling to any artist! if we do
that, then we are just as bad as the record companies. just my 2 cents. :)
