What happened, or is happening, with Think of England? Are they recording, still touring? I cannot find any info on Libbie and the crew. Lib was great up on stage opening for Poe. I like to keep tabs on fresh new bands, the most recent to get on air is Custom. I first heard "Hey Mister" around last Halloween. A local record shop was giving out singles and samplers in grab bags. But don't let that song fool you, they got bigger and better stuff on the way. Keep an ear out for "Like You." Another single I got then was "Bully" by a band from Ft. Worth, TX, called Sugarbomb (I belive Orange Counly soundtrack's hidden track is also Sugarbomb.) Expect good things from them this year. As for Think of England, I know nothing exept they opened for Poe, were finalists in the Pro-Voice competition, did a great cover of a Led Zepplin song in Seattle, and "Blood Red Moon" is an awesome sone of nearly Poe caliber. Hey everyone - The info said to introduce myself, so here goes. :) My name's Amanda, I'm 18, and I live near Harrisburg in Pennsylvania. A friend got me into Poe when he played "Hello" for me on a pool hall jukebox. That was about two years ago, I think, maybe a bit less. I saw her live in Pittsburg on November 17th, 2001 - my boyfriend surprised me with tickets for our 1 year anniversary, which, coincidentally, actually was November 17th. It was, hands down, the best show I've ever been to. The energy was absolutely incredible; I've never felt anything like it. As for other musicians I listen to, a few of my favorites are Tori Amos, Bjvrk, Rufus Wainwright, Green Day, Nine Inch Nails, BT, Mary Prankster... just about everything, I guess, so long as it's not death metal or country. I can't think of any other interesting information to share, really. I just finished House of Leaves; I bought it some time ago but never had the time to concentrate on it until recently. Funnily enough, I never listened to Poe while reading it... heh. Okay, well, this has gotten quite long enough. Cheers! - -Amanda _________________________________________________________________ Join the worlds largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 14 Apr 2002 20:41:50 EDT From: FallenAngel1204@aol.com Subject: Re: new subscriber intro...
