I agree. I liked the Behind the Music special on Garbage... here comes a corny story. I was thinking about all of the music on BeautifulGarbage and watching information on Butch Vig and the like and I'm thinking about how great they are as musicians. Although I didn't like BeautifulGarbage at first... I'm thinking that they're an experimental band and by all means they were being experimental with this album, too! I guess my disappointment had to do with loving EVERY song on the pink CD and Version 2.0 and when I didn't like every single song on BeautifulGarbage that become the main reason for my disappointment. I will always appreciate Garbage's music although I might not listen to one song on the new CD as I do with the rest, but they are one of the few talented bands of the 90s and like Poe, they have their own sound that no one can match.
