Bowie, who broke free from Virgin Records in December, has signed a multi-album distribution deal with Columbia through ISO. Heathen, which is Bowie's first studio album since 1999's Hours, was produced by long-time collaborator Tony Visconti and will feature a guest appearance by Pete Townshend of the Who. A number of summer US and European festival dates are being lined up in support of the new album, though no further information is currently available. We will keep you posted as soon as details become available. 3/29/2002 Just months after walking away from Virgin Records and announcing he was going Indie, the Thin White Duke has done an about face and signed his new label ISO to one of the biggest record companies in the world, Columbia Records. ''Heathen'', Bowie''s first studio album in three years drops June 11 and promises to be a return to his 70s sound.
