So it must be doing somthing to those muscles. Theres several different modes you can put it on...some for fat wearing down...and some for the muscles...so I'm sure you could find something for you. :) ~Gyspy ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 5 Mar 2002 01:07:31 -0600 From: "Bad Bender" Subject: Re: RE: those electronic AbBelt thingys Careful people. They hardly build up muscle. All they do is flex the muscle. With no resistance the muscle won't develop. It's the same as flexing them yourself, sure it tires it out but that's it. Being the Electrician I am concerned about what it will do you in the long run. Sending electric shocks to your muscles over time can not be harmless. I'm talking about nerve damage here. I saw episode of 20/20 the other day that discussed diet products like the electric zapper thing and the pills. What it found is that the zapper thing is best used as a aid not a cure all. Sit ups and pushups are still the way to go. > Hehe I'm real curious about those.. those that know me know I can't > afford to lose weight, but do they increase the muscle? How do you get one? :) Black Dove" Well, first you have to know where they leave... In which land, but also in which biotop... There surely are some sites that deal about it, somewhere on the web, but you can as well try to find the answers in books... You'd better search in books, so that you can take them with you for your safari... Then you'll have to buy the bengal-hunter material, that are, at least: mistnets, kaki clothes, cages, binocular, sandwiches, water bottles... Then reserve a seat in a plane that will lead you to the country where Bengals live, and reserve a room in a hotel too (or maybe you'd prefer camping, so that you'll need a tent, at least, plus other things... Well, you've already camped ? if yes, you already know what is needed, don't you ? If no, then reserve a room in a hotel, that's better... Not too much problems at the sam time !!!!). Then, you'll have to learn, from the books you've taken with you, or from the people you'll meet there (indigen ???) how do bengals live, at what time they are more active, where they go to feed and drink... i.e., how it is easier to catch them... And maybe some of them will die in the mistnets, or in your hand... you know their heart is so fragile !!! Others will die in the way-back-home travel... but at least, at home, maybe a pair of them will still be alive, and ready to decorate your living-room... And if you've learned, as well, how to properly feed them, they will stay alive in their cage for a while... Another, simpler, way to have some at home, is to buy them from a pet shop... Hoping that my answer will be of some help, I will now go to eat... Todays menu is... chicken, I believe... C.U. Jackman" Subject: Re: NPR bengals...how does one acquire one? Best way to do it is first read all the lit and pics about them online by doing a GOOGLE search about the breed, just to know what you're preparing for. Then locate a good breeder in your area. here's some good sites to read/peer through http://www.bengalcat.com/ http://bengal-cat.net/ http://www.exoticbengals.com/types.htm http://www.authenticbengalcat.com/ABCClassicCat.html http://www.exoticbengals.com/rep.htm ABOUT selecting a Reputable Breeder i recommend you go to WHERE the animals are being kept, preferably being raised "underfoot" which is to say, not in kennels and free to run around with the rest of the house. You'll find those bengal kitties are most well-adjusted and friendly. (Though the breed is by nature very social and curious and emotionally demanding) Most sires (unneutered males) are kept in cages (so don;t be disturbed by that) this is because they spray and are always prowling for a fight if there's another sire in the area, so it's better for everyone if they stay in their own private habitat. Go check out the pictures of my two Bengals at my YAHOO photo site. Look in the folder called MILES. i have a gold-spotted and a snow-spotted seal point lynx. http://photos.yahoo.com/littleredelf good luck and lotsa kitty love! >^..^< ///Andrea littleREDelf - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Tuesday, March 05, 2002 3:37 AM Subject: Re: bengals...how does one acquire one? > > I want a bengal.
