Is the lil kitty depraved and tortures for pleasure? As a creature of nature is it not bound perhaps, by different rules than we as humans a "more evolved" species? They KNOW that tipping the garbage can is wrong, thats why they hide after they do it. So I don't think that the cat hiding after it does something it gets punished for is an indicator of a knowledge between right and wrong, or at the very least an understanding of it. I think that applying words such as depraved to a cat's (or any animal's) actions is kind of silly, they don't live by the same rules we do. But that's just me. Of course, I mostly think this topic is quasi-serious. Guess I just wanted to get the "fur flying" (bar-ump bump). >=) And actually, I have had cats in the past, the only reason I don't now is my husky would kill it.My ex-girlfriend had 3 cats and the closest thing to "evil" any of them over did was when the older male walked right across my crotch, oddly enough, it was shortly after I had insulted her (in jest, of course). Apparently the cat had something to say about that! >=) Derek ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 3 Mar 2002 19:51:28 EST From: LiveThruThisVow@aol.com Subject: Re: NPR cats I've heard stories similar to this one. This one's kind of derogatory, so I'm just forewarning you. This chick's boyfriend was at her house one night and they were getting it on, and her cat happened to be in the room. They were having sex from behind and the guy's um gonads were swinging and the cat was watching them and finally SWIPED at them scratching them up. Now don't tell me that's NOT an act of evil right there! Peace, MeLissA Of all the animals, man is the only one that is cruel.
