She does HORRIBLE covers (ever hear Smells Like Teen Spirit? or her new cover album? or Losing My Religion? etc etc etc) but she does good original songs. Anyway, if you can find it give it a shot. By the way -- whoever was talking about the I Am Sam soundtrack, a much better track is Pearl Jam's cover of Hide Your Love Away. As long as we're on the subject of Across The Universe though..a little bit of trivia, David Bowie covered it on his Young Americans album, and Working Class Hero (which Marilyn Manson also covered, among many other Bowie copycat things) in his Tin Machine incarnation. They're pretty good covers but as much as I love Bowie, the originals are still much better. Does anybody know if Poe's covered any songs? I seem to recall hearing a cover of Jane Says from the navelsex site, but nothing further. I don't think she has done any studio covers that I know of, though, am I wrong?
