I've been under a rock for h while and most of my limited links are kaputski. h Cheers SteVe Sorry for the delay in answering this. The two best site to remember is http://poe.st. From there you can get to several Poe sites, including the Official Angry Psycho's Poe BBS ( http://bbs.poe.st), as well as the official discograpghy Shell has so diligently kept, sites run by Miki, Lemon Meringue, Tim, Erik and Jarrod. There is also http://www.p-o-e.com. That has been the official Poe site, but it is on Atlantic's servers and Angie's BBS is pretty much the only thing happening there. There have been rumors the site will be revamped and will have pictures, sounds and multimedia, but we have been hearing that for over a year now. We shall see, it would be nice, they have a TON of material exclusive to them! Hopefully they will learn to share soon. If Poe merch is what you are looking for again you have two choices. AP wear is at psychothreads.poe.st and the offical Poe goods can be found at http://store.yahoo.com/poestuff/index.html Hope that helps you some! ========Original Message======== Subj: Links update, please Date: 1/11/2002 8:19:12 PM Pacific Standard Time From: svisokay@nexet.net To: angry-psychos@smoe.org Sent from the Internet (Details) Could someone please summarize the current active links for best things PoE? Hi folks :-) My name is Mike, and I own/run a number of lists here at smoe.org, most notedly the Jewel, Patty Griffin & Tiny Tim lists. A few of us had tossed this idea around for over a year, and I finally decided to make it happen.....a list devoted to the discussion of the many evolving genres of music from the 1950s, 1960s and the 1970s. (yeah...I know...I guess this has to include disco too......oh well....so much for a "perfect list") I know there's a rather decent number of "baby boomers" on many smoe lists, so to them this will be a welcome addition. For others who did not grow up during the 50s, 60s or 70s, this list could be a very good learning tool that can turn you on to some of the best and most influential music of those eras, which is also some of the best and most infuential of all time. So, if you want to learn, or want to discuss any music genre or artist/group from those decades, please join us. As far as I am concerned, you can discuss ANY music from those eras: pop/top 40, rock & roll, folk, new age, jazz, broadway musicals, R&B...you name it...and yes....... I guess disco too. This list, like most others on smoe.org comes in loose mail and digest formats and you are welcome to join to either one or both. So, to join up on the loose-mail version of this list, send an email with the following two-line command subscribe 50s60s70s end in the body of an email to majordomo@smoe.org To join the digest version of the list, send the two-line command subscribe 50s60s70s-digest end in the body of an email to majordomo@smoe.org Hope to see many of you there real soon! I was just joking about the Tiny Tim list. :-) ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 14 Jan 2002 00:41:48 -0500 From: "sp00k@poe.org" Subject: Search Party Anybody heard from Jarrod ?
