But I'll make a guess: Women, "Milk" by Garbage, or "We Belong Together" by Rickie Lee Jones. These two singers are so sweet sounding. However the new single "Hey Baby" has many hidden references to "behind the scenes", it sounds like a catchy pop song but it theory it's not. Shreaded branch pieces... After many months of watching the show. I finally decided to voice my opinion on the whole matter. Probably will be a little long winded hope you get something out of it. What we have is not so much a power struggle, but a conflict of vision. One party wants to take the fan base to a BBS board to combine a system that both gives a medium for fans to communicate, be informed of news & at same time gives open access to random exposure to the general public. The other party already does all that & figures why fix what is not broken. Even when complaining about NPR and 200 emails about non POE related strings that's just on more thing that makes this list more memorable. Bottom line is Angry Psycho's Inc. Is the Official Fan Club of POE. By word, Deed and Spirit. We have been here since 96. Back in the day we pitched in our cash and bought the hardware to upgrade the server I think it was so this list would go on. For years through thick and thin this list has endured and continues to grow in size and organization. I could go on and on expressing the many dimensions the Angry Psycho's Inc. fill as Poe's major fan base and fan club, But We all know this already. Bottom line is if the powers that be that run the p-o-e BBS & website don't want to use our medium for informing Poe's fanatical, devout, loyal loving fans the Angry Psychos then I say no problem. It's only a matter of time before Angry Psycho's Inc. Blows whatever they attempt to do to promote and support POE look pathetic in comparison. ( I still can't get over how completely shitty Atlantic's site was and they were a major label?) Just like in any business competition will produce a winner and a loser. I am look at the track record and I think so far we are winning hands down. It's only a matter of time before the competition either caves in and joins us hoping to salvage what they have at our mercy or sell out and lets the next runner up give it a try. (Basically the next label will step in and either manage or scrap and make their own website, just like in any business, But You can count on the Angry Psycho's inc. being here for POE fans and POE) The competition might have some superior advantages like direct contact with POE on a regular basis, The rights to publicize POE how, when they fell like it, Be able to make official POE merchandise, but We still got the homefield advantage and we still hold the power. We can use our own sites for bbs's & our ever tested and approved system for fan interaction, news and grass roots, gorilla tactic promotion schemes. We hold one ace up our sleeve as well. The competitions customer base is US hahaha, How successful would that site be without the Angry Psycho's? The few stragglers that happen to be doing a POE search on the Internet, but hey when looking among the list of sights where would you go. Yeah the official POE page would be one of them, but after looking over the limited audio, video files and news with a few pics here and there. Where you gonna go to satisfy your POE thirst on down to Poe.st and take your choice of the many fine website establishments with real life photo's of our Lovely Lady interacting with her fans instead of a few airbrushed, sterile, promo studio pictures. Since the powers that be have failed to come even close to the ingenuity for promoting POE that Angry Psycho's have I don't feel threatened or upset one bit. We are so confident in our Product that we even advertise them on our site. Check em out we'll be here when you come back. Ban away, Pull the big guns of lawyer bureaucracy, raise the flag of censorship, Rule with the power of government, but beware the power of the people. Civilizations and Governments come and go, but the People remain. So shall the Angry Psycho's So my Fellow Psycho's to those of use who call each other friends, family, comrades, brothers, sisters or whatever spiritual meaning this group might mean to you even if your not an Angry psycho, but simply a casual fan forget the politics we have our generals, leaders and gorilla fighters. They will as always continue to fight the good fight, cultivate and expand our group and protect our interests, supply us with knowledge, contests and inspiration. Turning the other cheek is nice and all, but i haven't used the Bible except to prop up a book shelf with a bum leg, so that action certainly doesn't apply to me. if any thread with remotely challenging references, direct or indirect get deleted over there in Pink and Black Russia . . . i say we collectively drop a line in EVERY SINGLE topic, even off topic, even in House of Leaves. Maybe she'll have to destroy the whole board to wipe it clean. when it comes to verbal and written sparring, i delicately consider myself NOT one to be trifled with. And as much as i'd like peace in the New Year, and as much as i'd like to see the little gnome tear down and self-destruct her own world (her JOB more precisely) i'm not opposed to suggesting we give it a hearty nudge. i began with some general elven trifling . . . and pebbles casting in the moonlight i'm saving my pebbles for board games, i'm looking to cast stones now . . . ///Andrea littleRED'standby for launch'elf From: JewlyaINAP@aol.com To: MRPierce@mail.ifas.ufl.edu ; littleredelf@home.com Cc: angry-psychos@smoe.org Sent: Sunday, January 06, 2002 2:24 PM Subject: Re: Olive, Gnomes, Angie....
