I should have posted this sooner, but I lost it. http://anyservicemember.navy.mil/ Send a special holiday message to our men and women in the military defending American freedom worldwide. Since 1967, when Sgt. Billy Thompson wrote Abigail Van Buren and mentioned that a wonderful Christmas present to our armed forces would be "just a letter from home," American citizens have been sending holiday wishes to servicemen and women stationed overseas every holiday season. Dubbed "Operation Dear Abby," the program has brought holiday joy to hundreds of thousands of U.S. military personnel deployed away from home. Concerns about mail delivery have prompted the military to suspend this year's letter-writing campaign. However, the United States Department of the Navy's LifeLines2000 Services Network in association with SPAWAR SCC-NCR is providing this private and secure online resource that will allow you to send a Sailor, Marine, Soldier, Airman or Coast Guardsman a holiday greeting. sp00k etc ... Here are some of my more interesting findings: POE Hello Tour awesome sexy 28-photo set 4x6 - http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1499902712 Tori Amos Poe Moby 1996 J. Spew Compilation - http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1499959325 SIGNED POE AUTOGRAPHED "HELLO" CD W/COA - http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1498415186 This last one bugged me a bit. Currently the bidding is at $49.95. And includes this comment: "THIS AUTOGRAPH WAS VERY HARD TO GET AND WAS OBTAINED IN PERSON." Hehe very hard to get?? ok, everyone that has something signed by Poe, raise your hand. ok.. put em all down or put on some deoderant.. :) No, serious, this stuff worries me. There are people out there that are jockeying to get in time with Poe because they want to make a few bucks off her. What about the fans out there? If I knew there was this kind of demand for signed Poe cds, hell I'd carry a stack with me to the next show and pass em out like candy to fans. I dunno.. maybe this is just a jaded person who doesn't see a whole lot of monetary value in autographs but recognizes the personal value of an autograph dedicated to only you. What do you guys think? I want MusicalWaters' job so I can afford to pay $40+ per single too!
