I'm trying to remember the name of a TV show that aired in the late 80's early 90's I think. The story was a warrior that was banished from his world to Earth as a regular human. He had alot of strength and had a floating eyeball looking thing as a companion. He had to do good in order to be allowed back to his home. I'm not sure what station it aired on but I know it only had maybe one season. I think is was on between Max Headroom and Quantum Leap. Any ideas? Nikka Costa was just unbelieveable. That girl has got to be the funkiest that I have ever seen. She and the band had crazy energy throughout the show - reminded me of POE, but even more so - and everything meshed together so well. The band was great. I absolutely have to say GO SEE HER if you have the chance. You will not be disappointed. On an interesting note, I liked the little "Paranoid Android" riff that they did towards the - middle? - of the show. On a different note, the opening act "Miranda Lee Richards" - I think - was great, and I'm curious if anyone has heard her before? I thought that her performance was well done, but she seemed kind of hesitant to interact with the crowd - maybe intimidated? - and absolutely the opposite of the lovely Nikka Costa. I would, however, love to get ahold of more of her stuff. Kung-Gene "Leon, what exactly do you do?" "Cleaner." "You mean you're a hitman?" "Yeah." "Cool." _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 10 Dec 2001 01:26:01 EST From: BUDave18@aol.com Subject: MIRANDA LEE RICHARDS Hey AHHH she's so amazing!!! get her CD THEHERETHEREAFTER!!! its such a dope buy! shes perfect!! velvety, soothy, psychadelicaly unbelievable!! that cd has not left my CD player!!! shes greaT!
