I haven't really had much of a chance to read all the posts on the list lately because I'm on the road touring doing security for Neil Diamond (kind of annoying because we've been in some of the same places as POE and I Haven't been able to catch a show because of work but anyway...) So we pull into Sacramento CA, and I get all comfy on the bed with my burger someone picked up for me at some place called In n Out or something like that...and I turn on the tv...there's some really odd movie on...didn't know what it was at the time, but later found out it was the Creature Feature for the week "How To Make A Monster." I like odd movies so I didn't mind it too much...easy to please and all. The movie ends and I hear the open riff of a song that's sounding really familiar....then it came in. "Don't you mess with a little girl's dreams..." Anyway...I'm just easily amused and I thought I'd share - -ME (bows) _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 8 Dec 2001 07:18:23 EST From: KrodKnid@aol.com Subject: Re: Just heard Poe on HBO In a message dated 12/8/2001 4:00:54 AM Eastern Standard Time, chocolatethunder42@hotmail.com writes: > I get all comfy on the bed with my burger someone > picked up for me at some place called In n Out or something like that > >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> > Hahahaha...In 'N Out Burger is a popular fast food chain in California (and > I think Arizona and Nevada too). I have a bad habit of not waving to people i don't know and at first i had no clue where i had seen you before. But on the trip home i remembered and felt bad. Think of England will be performing this Monday night, Dec. 10th, at 11:30 pm at The Gig on Melrose in Hollywood. The show costs only $5 and features a bunch of other bands as well starting around 9pm. After a month on the road opening for Poe, the band is hot and ready to rock. After catching the band at The Roxy last week, James Brown was overheard saying,"that group's got more energy than a generator!...and that Libbie is one foxy lady." Come see for yourself. >>> Dear Angry Psychos, The use of NPR (Not POE / AP Related) is mandated on this list and must be adhered to. I bring this up to the list as we get this advertisement. To say that T.O.E opened for POE on the last tour has no relevance. Sorry. NPR... Not a personal attack band@thinkofengland.org... or on T.O.E as a group - just a general heads-up as we keep this list as pure as possible and work toward taking the AP group public. A hard line on this NPR issue must be taken. I manage to bounce around a U2 mailing list and it is OUT OF CONTROL at times. The manager of the U2 list has to turn people off by IP and actions like that. This group will be as big one day and undoubteldy the same action will need to be taken. But not with NPR... theoretically. The group email list is a public forum and share your knowledge, but if it is NPR, note it for posterity.
