Angie is a VERY beautiful woman, she is VERY sweet and I did not use the term "troll" in that manner. In case you don't know what the difference is between an ugly mythical troll and in Internet troll (which I specifically said I was referring to) I sent you private mail to explain the difference. Has nothing to DO with appearance, has to do with posting in item designed to provoke an angry response and generate discontent. Angie has become expert at doing that in this list. Unfortunately most of us realize it doesn't matter and we will not play the game anymore. Angie is welcome here and we all sincerely hope she will do her job and post Poe news for us ALL, even those who are locked out of or choose not to use p-o-e.com. I guess the story goes that Bjork forked over the song to Madonna as a favour to Bjork's longtime collaborated Nellee Hooper, who produced the track on Madonna's record. But Bjork also cut the track under it's orignal title "Sweet Intuition," leaving out the lyrics Madonna used but including the ones Madonna left out. It's a brilliant track, and lyrically it comes together much more fully than Madonna's (proving once again that Madonna can homogonize anything.) I just figured it's a rarely heard track, so here are the lyrics, in whole as Bjork had intended them. Hope you all enjoy them! I went to the Poe concert at the roxy in LA on the night of the 29th or November. (my birthday). I went to school for 2 periodes then i left. Went home to get directions, money, and various other things. Went to interscope records and got myself a contact number so i could call and talk to someone about interning. Im now going to skip everything and go directly to the concert. We got there around 3:30pm and we sat outside. I see Ziggy the bass player walk into the venue and i say hi. about half an hour later i see 2 figures walk across the street and i don't even realize its Poe because of my bad vision. Some girls join us in line and its now about 4:30pm. ARound 5:30 APs started showing up- Miki and her sister rachel, Terri (is that how you spell your name?) and some other people who i didn't catch their names. Had a great time looking at the dirty la weekly. Show time- Got right in front of the Mike and were rocking out with my friends. i brought Poe a package and held it up during Hey Pretty. and she hugged it tight. During Dolphin she sprayed us with water and got soaked. Sometime during "Fly away" my friend carlin asks me for some paper and she makes some type of sign and i have no idea what. I look up and she wrote Birthday girl with an arrow pointing at me! I saw Poe glance at it furing the song. Soon she finishes and i don't remeber what she says because im in this deep trance. Carlin later tellse me she says "Before we get to anything else We have a birthday in the front row" I immediatly look at carlin and at Poe- Poe kneels down and asks me my name. She sings happy birthday to ME! And keeps on looking at me. I mouth oh my god. and give carlin a huge hug. After poe says "I hope you have a great birthday and each on will get better". I mouth thanks and make a gesture from my heart to her and she grabs my hand. she lets go, blows me a kiss, bends down and rips the set list off the stage and hands it to me. At this point im so psyched and think its a dream. After the show my friends and i stick around hoping to thank poe. No luck she left. After the show Carlin tells me, "Even if you haven't heard any of Poe songs how can you not be a fan after this show." This is the BEST show i have ever been to. It was a pleasure meeting all the angry psychos and i give a million thanks to Poe who made this my best birthday ever! Much Love, Tina L. Buy the perfect holiday gifts at Yahoo! I myself just got back from my last Poe show for the tour, and am deathly ill. My car threw a snowchain while we were driving down the freeway in a blizzard, and me and Skott ended up walking around in the snow on the freeway for a good half hour looking for it. We were Psychosicles by the time we made it back to the car. Add that to the fact that I was already sick from getting to all the shows 3 or 4 hours early and standing in the rain, and I am just not in good shape. But hey, there's good news too. SF kicked ass! We had tons of fun hanging out before the show, and the show itself was phenomenal. Me and Radon got pulled up on stage again and were ecstatic. Then after the show Poe rented out a club for just the psychos and had Craig tell everyone standing in the rain by the tourbus to go there. We didn't have to pay a cover, and the other psychos were buying us shots all night. The best part was that Poe, Siggy, and Angie all showed up and we danced and drank and partied it up all night. And Siggy kissed me and a bunch of other girls (he was really hammered) before he left. Great experience, and I met a bunch of cool people. LA was awesome despite the fact that some idiots were trying to fight right behind me and this crazy drunk girl kept falling over. Poe kicked ass as always, and TOE called us the coolest fans on the tour and took pictures of us. Libbie said we were the biggest Poe fans she'd ever seen. Anyway, we got pulled up on stage again (yay), and had a blast. Got to meet Gypsy, and she's a very cool chick. Poe didn't get to come out after the show cause she was really busy, but it was great nonetheless. We got to Sac four hours early, and the club she was playing in was open so we figured we'd wait inside until they closed the doors and made us form a line. We were just about to order something to eat when Poe walked in and came over and said hi and gave us big hugs. She talked to us and signed stuff and took pictures for over an hour. Then Craig came out and said that everyone except the presspass winners were gonna have to leave so they could do soundcheck, but Poe told him that we'd been to half a dozen shows on this tour and she didn't feel right letting us stand out in the cold. So we got to attend soundcheck again, and it was awesome! She talked to us a little after soundcheck, and we told her our youngest sister was gonna be at the show and that she'd never been to a concert before. Poe was stoked, and said she'd keep an eye out for her. Anyway, we were up front (as usual) with Laura (the littlest sister) and Poe pulled her up on stage for Beautiful Girl and danced with her. It was so sweet, the look on that kid's face was priceless! Then when Poe came out for her encore she came over to the edge of the stage and asked Laura if she was okay since she was so tiny and the crowd was pushing so much. Laura said she was fine, but Poe pulled her up on stage and said, "This is Laura and she's 11 years old and this is her first concert ever. She's getting squished down on the floor, so she's gonna sit up on stage with me for the rest of the show." So Laura got to hang on stage while Poe finished up. Then once the show ended we were all standing by the tour bus and Craig came out and took Laura inside the bus and she got to hang in there with Poe for well over a half an hour. She was so ecstatic when she got off. Poe gave her a little Po teletubbie and signed it to her. It was great. So, despite the fact that I lost my wallet in LA and a snowchain on the pass, and caught some sort of bronchial disease along the course of the roadtrip, I couldn't have asked for a better time.
