Of course totally awesome. Wow of course I'm still drooling and stunned by her beauty. She gestures a lot with her hands as she talks, Her fingers are soooooooo long.. wow she has amazing hands.. Oh yeah i think she said some stuff, I was to dazed to remember. Had to watch a few times haha.. Anyways she mostly talked about the creative process. How they designed the album. Taking samples from one song trying it in another etc. How she came across her fathers tapes & used samples from it,how they inspired her. The coincidence of her brothers book being completed around same time. How she could never imagine putting out a album with radio friendly songs and some filler songs to make an album. How she would never put a album out that was not part of her or expressed herself or feelings in some way. By staying true to herself and putting out albums with personal meaning & emotion she feels by doing that she has accomplished something in her life. However, yesterday before school I noticed a man parked on the boundaries of campus just sitting there in a silver car. I dropped my sister off and then found a parking place. There was the man again, but on the OTHER side of the street. I remember EXACTLY what this motherfucker looks like. Mustache, dark hair, glasses, dark complexion, drives a silver car... ONLY I DIDN'T GET THE LICENSE PLATE NUMBER! I didn't suspect too much but it freaked me out because he was just staring at me or my car. I thought it was just some cretin watching catholic school girls going to school so he could have something to think about when he whacked off, but I put the damn club on my car and took my CDs out and put them in my locker (I would have been more pissed if my CDs were stolen than the CD player). This guy saw me take out my CDs, so I'm sure he thought, "hmm CD player." A few days ago someone attempted to break into another girl's car at school. Point being, I know what this guy looks like, he broke into my car and I always leave my doors locked, he was able to unlock my car. Is there any point in putting on a club if he can unlock that, too? Should I file a police report? I just heard haunted on WBER at 8:15 a prime time playing, and it still does give me goose bumps. BUT, lets face it, nobody captilaized on the Haunted theme for Halloween, TWO years in a row. What makes it sadder still is that House of Leaves should be going for the same ride, they should be geasing each others rails, instead they are left to be enjoyed by their dedicated yet disgruntled fan base. I mean lets say some guy decided to call himself scrooge, and have a band, don't you think that they would work the Xmas thing a little harder? You think if this guy scrooge hand a bunch of fans called "angry-elfs" that he would ignore the helpers? I wonder if they give out awards for the most botched promotional opportunity TWO years running. Just so we are clear, I find it sad that Poe does not get the attention she deservs, and it feels like the wheels are grinding to a halt. sp00k etc ... I will let you know tomorrow night. We avoided all the service charges in Salt Lake City by buying a group of tickets straight from the promoter. I think I can do that in Portland and Seattle as well. By the way, there are still a few SLC tickets left if anyone wants them at 12 dollars with no surcharges ( as long as you pick them up at the venue and don't need them overnight mailed.) ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 31 Oct 2001 19:21:30 -0800 From: Miharu Nakatani Subject: Re: P-O-E.com mutiny and blah blah > I've not registered at p-o-e.com but I do visit to read a few times a >year. >I just went through the contest entries to see who signed up to shoot the >rochester >show.
