A few of > those women are VERY beautiful.....others....might look interesting...but > nothing you feel desire to see around regardless of their personality. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Some of the high fashion types are really cool and actually have personalities...Elle McPherson, for one, is a scream. Well, she's Australian, so maybe the wicked sense of humor goes with the territory. The thing is, if you divide up the human visage into the 360 degrees of a complete circle, virtually everyone will have certain angles among those degrees from which they look really great and certain angles from which they look very homely. Fashion photographers know how to put models through a sort routine of continuous movement that allows them to get a lot of the good angles on film...we never see the shit pics, but there are plenty of'em for sure. Really photogenic people have a higher percentage of "good" angles than average people...and really unphotogenic people have more of the "bad" angles...but that is just in photographs (witness yer driver's license picture). In real life people are animated...they never show you just one or two angles...what we experience of each other visually is a continuously changing series of good and bad and normal angles all mixed together. Some people who have lively personalities are really animated and facially expressive. These people often look good because the light from them tends to reflect out from every angle and they never stay still long enough for you to get a good look at any particular shot. Some fashion model types are downright homely in person because they have no personality and are not very animated...so even though a photog can find a lot of good angles to photograph, in person they often have a dour, gaunt, lifeless look about them and seem really shallow, even if they aren't. And...well, I know from personal experience that a lot of guys just flat out are NOT attracted to really skinny girls at all...they lack voluptuousness and vivacity and look like they might blow away if they got caught in a strong wind...of course there are exceptions. It really depends on what you have inside. ------------------------------ End of angry-psychos-digest V6 #479 ***********************************
