The seller's location and the boots he has look suspiciously like someone I was going to trade with. I let the trade slip a week and he didn't get back to me again. Or it's quite possible he traded with someone local and that person is the one selling the boots. I don't know how he got the Toronto boot. There's nothing to report to eBay because it doesn't say 'CDR' anywhere. If you guys don't bid on it, I can try to win it (not willing to bid much more over $20 though) and then I'll put them *all* up on navelsex (not in lossy MP3 format) so someone here won't have to buy them again. The other alternative is to report the seller to the RIAA and Atlantic's piracy unit, but judging by number of auctions, the guy probably hasn't sold enough stuff to warrant a cease and desist type of thing, his auction would just get pulled. - --Michele - --------------- This message is a Public Service Announcement brought to you by ShellE Productions. I know they have certain nights that are that way, but I've been in L.A. all my life and have been going to the Roxy since I've been 15 & unless things have changed in the past 3 or 4 months that I don't know about, they are usually not 21 and older only. Almost every show I've been to in *cough* years, I can't remember one being 21 and older only. I can't guarantee Poe's show won't be that way, but it would seem odd Poe's mgmt or the promoter would request the show be 21 and older only. My name is Easter, I'm 22 years old and I live in Arlington, VA just outside of Washington, DC. 6' 195# dark brown hair/blue eyes goatee/sideburns. You can check me out at http://www.mp3.com/easterbradford/ and also at www.geocities.com/nicestslice/ I'm a singer, writer and (less than I'd like) actor with two beagles that aren't actually mine and a world-insluting optimism. I'm active in human rights (being a gay male) and I use an apricot facial scrub. I bought "Hello" after seeing a live version of Angry Johnny on MTV in 1996ish. I was 17, and I was sucked in. I had become (and still rather am) obsessed with the new breed of female singer-songwriters who were taking over the airwaves (Tori Amos and Bjork are still two favourites although I've learned to dismiss people like, say, Jewel.) "I had Alanis in my deck that day/'Cause I couldn't find my Carole King" (E.B., "Bijou Refueling Statino") I stopped listening to "Hello" regularly after a reasonable while and kind of forgot about Poe until "Haunted" came out. I snagged it up excitedly and fell in love again. Forced friends to listen to it at (usually) metaphorical gunpoint. I'm just now halfway through "House of Leaves." I like it, but I refuse to discuss it because I'm taking it kind of personally. :) I love mystery novels (cheeky, a'la Lillian Jackson Braun,) indie films (modern, a'la Martha Plimpton, Parker Posey and Lili Taylor,) alternative music (obscure, a'la Cake Like and Maggie Estep,) and the colour of ocean. And I guess that's enough about me for one email to a list of strangers. I look forward to...
