Well if you ask me anime is one of the greatest artforms in the world today. My top choices are the entire Gundam saga but specifically Gundam Wing, X, Lain was good, Slayers, Outlaw Star was better the second time I really watched it, and of course Cowboy Bebop. In fact on an interesting note I had never seen the Jupiter Jazz episodes, and having watched the other night i'm completley hooked on the saxaphone solo "Goodnight Julia" I think its one of the most beautiful instrumentals ive ever heard in my life. I hate college towns, but loved the show....different story altogher. second show was in Dalton at the local high school, bought tix from the YMCA....gotta love it....they were great! such a well spent weekend. both sets were acoustic, which i didn't mind in the least, they were still great songs and i can't wait till i see them in december after their european tour with the cowboy junkies. now i gotta sleep. - ---tinfoil dan ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 14 Oct 2001 13:10:49 EDT From: PyroShwee@aol.com Subject: Re: NPR A clear head and a cold heart... In case no one has noticed, the terrorist attacks against the U.S. funded by Bin Laden continue to grow in death toll with each one.. and he's made a statement that the Americans will not live in peace until the Palestinians do So, GREAT IDEA! Let's sit around with our thumbs up our asses and allow some more of our people to be INNOCENTLY killed, and THEN we can go around talking about how we shouldn't be violent back because that's "wrong"!... What the fuck ever... I can't even write about this cause it pisses me off..... This makes me wonder since we have not heard any info from NYU or official channels about this, whether this was an event planned before, and now is delayed/cancelled, or whether it is to be put on now? Apparently there was not any ticket info on the flyer other than "$5 for NYU students." Hopefully this is actually going to go on, I guess we'll hear the complete story soon enough! One of my h friends saw a flyer in her dorm about it. I have neither h heard anything nor seen any info at all but maybe h that's cause they don't allow any flyers in my dorm, h who knows? I just sent a request for information about this to Angie, Poe, Patrick and Paul. Hopefully we will have news soon! This is the first I heard of this one. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 14 Oct 2001 19:42:20 -0700 (PDT) From: Miki Proud Subject: Vote for Poe Hey everybody, If you get a free minute, please go check out the voting links on the Poe BBS.
