Well, tonight was my first night working at Bogart's in Cincinatti (where Poe has actually played during the Hello tour...I hope she does again). I work security and will probably do some production soon as well. For my initiation tonight I got to work the barrier in front of the stage at a Misfits concert (special guests Marky Ramone and the guitar player from Black Flag). Most of the night I was catching the flying bodies of crowd surfers as they came hurtling over the barrier. It was a lot of fun...even when the crowd got into hefting large dudes and working them to the front of the barrier and then catapulting them at us like sacks of grain. The Misfits, BTW, f***ing rocked ass! They KILLED! They also spent a lot of time signing stuff after their raging set of songaftersongaftersongaftersong, relentless without letup except when Marky took over on drums for the Misfits guy. I think I am going to like this job quite a bit more than repairing spray paint pumps for Sherwin-Williams (even though S-W paid well and had great benefits). ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 12 Oct 2001 22:17:40 -0700 (PDT) From: Wayne Sassano Subject: [none] (1) Who you are?I wayne am?
