It's cool to see all the spin offs too. For your sexy lists, how could you leave right said fred off? Maybe it's too sexy for your lists! Ha ha! Bad joke of the day. Anyways, since I have no life :( I'm going to download as many of those sad songs and see if I can compile the ultimate depressed cd. I normally don't post much, but sometimes, like many people I like to express my opinion. Some more so than others it seems. Anyways, I have no idea on what the US can or should do to solve things. At least we're trying, right? Sometimes, this can be seen as arrogance, other times as beligerance, and in rare cases, humanitarian. Unfortunately for almost everybody, their opinions are skewed by what they read or are told by media or their leaders. Some form their own uneducated opinions. I've never really paid much attention to that part of the world, until recently. So I can't really pass judgement. But I've heard all kinds of things, mostly about how ridiculously hypocritical the Taliban is, and most Islamic fundamentalism(NOTE - NOT CRITICIZING ALL MUSLIMS OR THE ISLAMIC FAITH - JUST THIS WARPED INTERPRETATION). It's unfortunate that many people in that area are socially and economically depressed. It leads to many injustices where power goes to those who seize it. As a result, many of the surrounding countries/areas have to be extremely wary. As for bin Laden, killing him will make a martyr of him to many people, and capturing him will probably give rise to many more hostage situations clamoring for his release. I just heard on the radio what kinds of things women are subjected to over there. A funny idea that I heard would be to capture bin Laden and give him a sex change operation. I really wonder what would happen then! But anyways, that's my 2 cents. - - Poor Yorick ________________________________________________________________ Sent via the WebMail system at mail.alum.rpi.edu ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 10 Oct 2001 16:20:43 EDT From: KrodKnid@aol.com Subject: Re: NPR A Peaceful Solution. Hope it helps: Hello angie@momentumworldwire.com (angie), In reference to your comment: h UPDATE on the tour... The routing was determined, h but it's not the venues and the juicy bits..... I asked h how fast I''ll get the info....they hang up...I get the info. h That's what I thought...but I did ask to be sure I could h say that and have it be accurate. It won't be on any h site before you know about it which is how that h translates into music for our ears & eyes. Many of us are students or working and we would hope to fly in for the first few shows. Some will be driving long distances to get there. We do not NEED to know the venues and ticket costs and all the details if they are not ready yet, but to get the cheap seats and time off work/school the cut off date for 21 day advance purchase is THIS Friday. Thank you for letting us know the routing is done, could you release like the first three cities and dates with all other details pending? That way we could arrange the transportation and time off and worry about the details later! ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 10 Oct 2001 14:53:11 -0700 From: "Blue DragonWolf" Subject: Re: NPR: October Psychos My birthday isn't really spooky, just intresting. Gods, my friends are being so mean to me this year! My gf won't tell me at all what i'm getting, my Rocky Horror Picture Show birthday spanking is going to hurt like none other and my friend Paul has mentioned something about giving me a concoction which will have me waking up in a cold sweat wondering if the effects are still lasting. *shrugs* As for my favorite halloween music that would either be Samhain Night by Loreena McKennett or Monster Hash by someone I don't know. je t'aime, LB "You haven't truly made it until your head is on a pez dispenser."
