VERY AP related! Hello JezebeIlnHeII@aol.com, In reference to your comment: h At the risk of sounding like a broken record ... where h directly from Poe ? Did Atlantic write us cheery lil h Where the hell did all these rules come from ? Did Funny that you should ask that! Jarrod, Robby and Dean used to provide us with news on a regular basis. We had a good relationship with Poe, Modern Records/Atlantic, and Jeff Schock, Poe's manager prior to the release and around the release of Haunted. Jarrod got stepped on, Robby got busy and for reasons he has not published backed away, but is still around, Dean started polishchick almost 11 months ago ( seems a LOT longer then that doesn't it!), and there are various stories about what happened to him...personally I think he will be back someday. I would call Jeff Shock once a week and he or his assistant would tell me what stations were adding Hey Pretty, how many spins she had that week, CD sales info, and even concert and appearance rumors... Shortly before Jeff was out of the picture I had the pleasure of meeting Paul Fishkin. Paul is one of the most amazing men I have ever met. I have TOTAL respect for him, he has never lied to me and he has the GREATEST respect for the APs. I truly WANTS our help and our input and he goes out of his way to try to set up meetings and feed us with Poe news, to the point he would have me brief him regularly on what was happening with the APs and what the APs needed from him or Poe. He ALWAYS delivered or tried to. During the Borders tour Poe was GREAT at talking to Dean and on several occasions to me, in Portland, Seattle, and DC. Paul's Dad got sick and Nettwerk management was brought on board and Patrick has been good at providing information when I could catch him. We set up the same weekly schedule I had with Jeff, before him, but he is a busy man. He manages Dido in addition to Poe and took on Poe just as the DM tour was beginning. But you could COUNT on the fact that I would have SOMETHING new to report or additional details every week. That is until 9/20/01. As for someone buying the APs, nope. Nobody owns us...HOWEVER, we are in the process of becoming a legal entity. Angry Psychos, Inc has been filed with Jarrod as President, Tim , Mark and myself as officers of the corporation. As the incorporator I will step down and run for reelection in 6 months. Each Angry Psycho in the Ward will be a voting shareholder. (By the way, did you all notice we are over 1000 strong now??)!! There will be more news about this in the near future.... but we will now be in a position to bid on work for Poe. We will now be able to bid for licensing Poe merchandise and to see that Poe gets a bit bigger share and we will have access to it. It may even be that we will be able to work out licensing for streaming presentations of material not otherwise available! Who knows, when Atlantic hires their next Street Team maybe it will be Angry Psychos, Inc. that will win the bid! ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 9 Oct 2001 01:27:51 EDT From: KrodKnid@aol.com Subject: Re: NPR: Garbage on Letterman tonight In a message dated 10/9/2001 12:38:04 AM Eastern Daylight Time, Finedragonfly7 writes: > it was AWESOME i just watched it>>> i met her today.. there was a huge > crowd.. but i got her autograph.. i never got on the show.. she is so > >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> *turns green* ------------------------------ End of angry-psychos-digest V6 #448 ***********************************
