It all started when I showed up for my day job, and was informed that my boss had lost 50 bucks in tips that was in the office for me. They told me there was nothing they could do about it, so I quit after 2 and 1/2 years there. I figured it was no big deal, since I get paid really well at my night job. And then I showed up for my night job, and got some really bad news. Apparently, one of my cashiers had unlocked one of the doors after we had closed to talk to one of his friends, and had never relocked it. I had no idea about this, because I was in the back counting down cash drawers, but I was held responsible because I was the manager on duty. My store manager spent four hours on the phone with human resources telling them that I was the best manager he had and that I consistently worked 12-16 hour shifts without complaint, but they didn't care, and they told him that leaving a door unlocked was automatic termination, no arguments. So, after 4 months of sleeping less than 2 hours a night so that I could work the other 22 hours of the day, I am officially jobless, and I have no idea how I'm gonna make my rent this month. Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I hate my life. Sorry to burden all of you with my crap, but I've busted my ass for both of these companies. I've been employee of the month several times, I always show up for my shifts early, and I always stay late. Fat lot of good it did me though, because now I get to spend my weekend looking for a new job, and hoping and praying that I find one in time to have money for the DVD shoot. Arghhhhhhhhhhh! Anyways, that's my happy tale for the day, you may all continue with your lives now. ===== I dreamt tomorrow had a prettier face... I will post contact information a little later, I am going to go home early today!!! 91X has always been a strong Poe supporter. When I used to live down there they were a pretty strong rocker/alternative station, but maybe they have mellowed with age :) They also were not afraid to try new things and they were the BEST station in San Diego back then! (There morning DJs got fired more then anyone I have ever MET! they were always on the other side of the moon, but whoever they hired to replace them was the same or worse/better! Don't forget the two target stations, WTMX and KZON, but if you have a few extra minutes try these.
