(Thanks for that idea a 4 weeks ago Michelle) It will help clear that up...there are a number of people who attempted to use the link which allows that info to be sent to their e-mail address....and it just hasn't worked. The e-mail never arrives. It's POSSESSED......I'm just waiting for an answer. I have actually read a little into this...because a few women's magazine's, like Marie Claire, do a lot of articles on women's rights so i have read about the burqa's and the women's rights but obviously there is so much more than that... i hope that if this (war....more like when then if) happens.... that we as a nation are standing up for lives... everyones... and that we don't do it just because "we can" out of our own egoism.... shari ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 25 Sep 2001 00:15:53 EDT From: JaunasAddiccion@aol.com Subject: NPR: Sloan questions Okay, I'm finall ydone checking all my mail, and it seems I have a few questions raised, so I'll answer them. It was Air that did the music for the Virgin Suicides, not Sloan. But thanks for the interest. Sloan is actually (in my opinion) a very talented band from Canada, Air is not (from Canada, they're French, don't hold that against them). Sloan did in fact perform a song called Chester The Molestor (a childhood nickname earned by band member Chris) their new album is due out Oct 16 (8 days before my birthday) and sounds nice. on a TOTALLY unrelated note, I happened on a great new way to do cheeseburgers. when you make the patties, make them half size and put the cheese between two of them, forming one patty with a bunch of cheese in the middle. the burger cooks up and the cheese gets fried along with it, good if you like fried cheese and/or burgers, bad if you don't. the thing is I can't find anything that says someone else has made burgers like this before, so I may have originated something....but the burger has been around for too long for it to be original, so now I am at a challenge to find out if I devised a new way to make burgers or I'm just getting too hopeful. for more info on the movie the Virgin Suicides, go here: www.virginsuicides.com for more info n the band Air, go here: www.popnews.com/air/indexang.htm for more info on the band Sloan, go here: www.sloanmusic.com if you can help mefind out anything regarding the burger thing, email me back. - -dan ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 25 Sep 2001 00:23:52 EDT From: Sharonda220@aol.com Subject: NPR: board censoring this might not be a great solution.... but if there IS a problem with censorship...and someone is obviously not telling the truth (if the moderator "says" she isn't doing it and the author KNOWS they aren't, then obviously someone else is doing it) maybe we should think about using a different board? its like... after all...there is freedom of speech but this is someone else's website and the fact that it IS online presents all kinds of special problems.... this might get a little complicated but i never use the boards because i never have time to sit down and do all the stuff. ok. i lied. i never have the patience. but... this is just me replying to what i've seen in emails. shari ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 25 Sep 2001 05:56:19 +0000 (GMT) From: Cyberfan Corporation Subject: Re: Visit my website visit my website visit my website heh "This must be another world..." *************************************************** JK/// Jarrod Kniff President - Cyberfan Corporation jarrod@cyberfan.com *************************************************** "One important key to success is self-confidence.
