Alright, so I never knew Dean and came to the list right when polishchick.com went down, and I just want to share a different perspective. Dean was obviously a treasued member of the AP community who exited abruptly without update on why.. and I am astounded and awed by the warm care about it, it's awesome that everyone has such strong ties and misses him so dearly .. and above all is worried and concerned about him, hoping he is okay.. But one think I don't think's been said yet is that if Dean wanted everyone to know what was going on , he would probably tell us. And though i think the concerns are sweet and incredibly considerate, it may be that something happened that is personal... and thought he bonds of APs are great, there's still the fact that he has a personal life. And my guess is that he either doesn't want to disclose the information for some reason right now, or not yet at least (and this should be respecte,) or can't for some reason. If Dean still reads his list letters, he'll know that people are supportive and will care if he wants to come back to us, but for now maybe that isn't what's right for him.. Though he has loyalty to the APs, he also has obligations and duties in his own life that may right now outweigh what he can provide and contribute to the AP community.. and though I'm sure everyone would love to know he's okay and what's going on, it's all his choice so I'm just gunna lay low about it.. and hey, even if something happened with his wife, its not my business so I'd stay out of it and let him handle whatevers goin' on, he knows if he needs support, he has a ton right here to draw from. Sorry that was so long guys! Thats all folks :oP *~*emme*~* ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 29 Aug 2001 19:07:50 -0700 From: "angie seegers" Subject: Full Band Show I didn't mention that Kansas City is a full band show, and just got the call recently actually...so..... I'd really like to meet everyone personally, without tying up this list of course. Feel free to e-mail me privately at: angie_AP@hotmail.com Knowing what state you live in will help me coordinate some events/gatherings too. You'll be hearing about one that EVERY AP out there can sign up for. There will be plenty of time to consider a little cash to set aside for a NATIONAL get-together. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 29 Aug 2001 22:25:20 EDT From: CrazyasDeLuca@aol.com Subject: Re: NPR bisexuality In a message dated 8/29/2001 9:33:42 PM Eastern Daylight Time, AnnieLaurieDOS@aol.com writes: > What's the big deal with people being bisexual. Well, Annie, we've covered this already. I believe the way it was put was "fix the damn toilet". In the toilet of life we have our plumbing, our feces, and our urine. Urine, plumbing, and feces, my friend, are not homosexual, heterosexual, or bisexual. That, though, would be fuuuuuunny. Wait, I'm making this hard to follow... Uh, the point is... MoMo as I like to call her is seemingly funkadelic. She eats tomatoes even though she's allergic to them sort of like how I eat dairy even though it makes my lips puff up. She's also a bisexual. Right off that put me off because she was very in my face. When people are in your face about that stuff, it's almost like they're creating a seperate clique for themselves. A little club, if you will... Yeah, call me an insecure hetero-freak if you want, but I'm pretty darn secure. I wouldn't want someone coming up to me and saying "Well, hey, I'm straight. LIKE YOU! AWESOME! SHYEAH!" Okay... This is just a carry-over of energy from being pissed about Poe on MTV. lol - -Bridget and her loverly arse ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 29 Aug 2001 22:17:22 -0500 From: "Faerie Girl" Subject: Re: Poe in Kansas City I will definitely be there. Just saw the broadcast - two artists in 30 minutes with a raft of commercials. It might work for me if it were just one artist, so that we really get a taste of the artist.
