Well it was a long time I wanted to "work" that song... So I did it this afternoon, and I believe I found the chords/harmonies to that tune... A nice one, I wish that I had composed it... I note down those chords this way: ( ) = 1 bar (Eb ) = Fb for 1 bar (Db Ab) = 1st half of the bar is Db, 2nd half is Ab (or say: 2x1/4notes are Db, then 2x1/4notes are Ab) Ok? then let's go... Verse 1 and verse 2 are similar Chorus 1 and chorus 2 are similar, except for the last bar, which, in chorus 2, introduces the piano&flute solo. verse3 starts as verses1&2, but ends somehow different. then comes the outro/ending... I don't know if that way of writing music is what you were expecting: maybe you wanted a real music sheet, with 2 X 5 lines, and notes drawn on them... But then I'm not the one to be able to do it... Maybe I could try making a .mid file, but not sure I could REALLY play EXACTLY the same as P(*)E does on the CD... Is that important, believing that P(*)E herself won't play it exactly the same each time ??? Anyway, if anyone feels ready to do it, let him/her do... So here is what I believe are the chords: anyone can try them, and correct them if I made a mistake... Fly Away by P(*)E Verse 1 (Eb )(Db Ab)(Fm )(Ab ) (Eb Gb)(Db Ab)(Eb )(Db Ab) (Bb ) Chorus (Eb )(Gm )(Cm )(Ab ) (Eb )(Bb )(Db Ab)(Bb ) Verse 2 (Eb )(Db Ab)(Fm )(Ab ) (Eb Gb)(Db Ab)(Eb )(Db Ab) (Bb ) Chorus (Eb )(Gm )(Cm )(Ab ) (Eb )(Bb )(Db Ab)(Bb G ) Solo (Cm )(Ab Eb)(Db Ab)(Fm )(Bb ) (Bb ) Verse 3 (Eb )(Db Ab)(Fm )(Ab ) (Eb Gb)(Db Ab)(Eb )(Db ) (Ab )(Bb )(Ab ) Ending (played 3 times) (Eb )(Eb Ab) ______________________________________________________ Bonte aux lettres - Caramail - http://www.caramail.com ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 2 Aug 2001 20:39:53 EDT From: KrodKnid@aol.com Subject: Poe videos...including Hey Pretty, Hello, THJ This site has probably been posted before, but it is pretty cool. Sorry, T-shirts no longer available I just have one question for the people who got their shirts without paying. What the hell is wrong with you. Julie and I designed them for free, so that's one thing you never were expected to pay for. Julie then inked them onto shirts for you and sold them pretty close to at cost. We both worked hard to get these out, Julie even more than myself (that psycho design that appears on all the shirts took 5 hours to make, and that's not including the other attempts at something similar that didn't make it, the time to make the website and handle your votes). Julie worked for hours and hours in that printshop to make you shirts, spending her own money for the ink, screens and blank shirts. You had a great deal going there for a while. Who the hell is so greedy that when someone sells them something at cost, giving them hours of their own labor for free, they turn around and screw them over so that they not only work for free, but end up paying and losing money on it. I seriously hope it's just been people who have been forgetting/procrastinating the payments and this will remind them or maybe jar them into action. I mean I designed them and I even paid my way. What a sorry display from you guys (you know who you are). - -Mike (who is not leaving, but is not amused) ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 3 Aug 2001 00:47:07 EDT From: Iamtheher4u@aol.com Subject: NPR: thanks!!!
