This will definately get a laugh although through the years I still remember my first concerts as a "fan." When I was five my parents took me to see The Osmonds (oh yes all of them together all the way down to Jimmy). When I was seven/eight I saw Barry Manilow and I thought he was God's gift to music! The best arena concert I have seen was Phish at the Portland,ME Civic center 12/12/95 (there was no assigned seating and I bounced all over)! The best club concert I ever attended was Soul Coughing at the Paradise in Boston 1997- they have since disbanded (may they R.I.P). Tori Amos in 2000 at our Live X. The show was great but afterwards, Tori was petting my head and rubbing her fingers through my hair... honestly. 3. Hole in 1997 or 1998 at the Atlanta Music Midtown Festival. Not only did I get to meet Courtney but the show gave me one of the most memorable concert moments ever... During Malibu, silver confetti cannons fired from the top of the stage into the heavens. For the next 3 minutes, it rained falling stars. 2. POE at Planet Hollywood in 1997. Bruce Willis, Matt Sorum, and about 5 APs in a show with about 100 people that had never heard of POE. The event was extraordinary. 1. Chantal Kreviazuk in 1998. The show was in a small seated venue with candles burning all around. She came out and sang one of her best songs accapella. My name is Kerry. I am a 27 y.o. female living in Omaha, NE. I pretty much have lived here most of my life with the exception of a 2 year stint in NYC and 4 years in Lincoln, NE. I started listening to Poe while in Lincoln going to school. A friend had the CD (hello) and we listened and liked (we=me and my husband). I listen to a strange mix of music. Mostly heavier stuff, metallica (older), godsmack, garbage, NIN, Tool...........the list goes on. I hate cd changers for that very reason. I change my mind too often to choose only a few discs to listen to. Poe is a must. I currently have haunted in the car right now. I'm finishing up my bachelors degree here next May. I'll have a bachelor of science in biology when I am done. I plan to attend graduate school, probably Ph.D. I am currently working as a researcher at the University of Nebraska medical center. I love it and can't wait to do more research! Who said masochism was a bad thing? Enough about me. I look forward to being a part of this forum.
