At the end of each night.. we have to run a report of sales and Waitresses are SUPPOSED to split their tips but often times they do not. I've asked many waitresses, busboys, cooks etc. In fact, I actually send my tip for the cooks straight to them via the waitress BEFORE we're finished with the meal. Also, I think if you become a server, you should know the wages suck and people are going to tend to be cheap, OR simply not know any better. If you can't stand it that bad, get another job! Very futuristic, sorta hard to explain... Go-Go get it:) Tenchi: Forget the crap "Cartoon Network" plays... they brutally murdered that show, cutting out every scene with action, blood, or any other "Suggestive themes"... the original vesion was sooo good. Drama/Romance/Action/Sci-Fi/Comedy... It has everything in the OAV, TV series and 3 movies. Tenchi Muyo, the OAV (original anime video) was Action/Sci-Fi/Comedy. Tenchi Universe or TV series was Action/Sci-Fi/Comedy also. The first Tenchi Movie, Tenchi Muyo in Love 1, was all Action/Sci-Fi, it has more action than all the others, and was totally Sci-fi with space and time travel. Tenchi Muyo Daughter of Darkness was really mostly comedy, with action at the end. The final movie, Tenchi Forever (not for kids), was the most serious and had no action at all... it was all Drama and some Romance. The sound track and animation was unbelievable in Tenchi Forever... ~Andrea - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: ; Cc: Sent: Saturday, July 14, 2001 7:22 PM Subject: Re: NPR : anime > > Ah, a subject I know something about! Kinda like Gundam (large mechas, though they're somewhat organic as well). All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku: If you're looking for comedy, look no further. This is THE single most funny series. Check it out. Slayers: Very funny, my favorite comedy next to Cat Girl. Serial Experiments Lain: Think of this as the "Pink Floyd" of anime.
