They are both telling people the same thing: Sit Down and Obey. Both the South African and corporate propaghanda have the same elements, How you "should" live, how you "should" buy, how you "should" think, who you "should" like, who you "should" hate. Modern propaghanda is just more subtle. People shouldn't take it from any angle, whether it be fascist, racist governments or fascist, racist corporations. Until more people start complaining, we will be stuck with that ads. Do what I do. Make fun of the ads loudly and sardonically. To some it is just annoying but it might make some see the banality and impiety of the ads. Subtle form of civil disobedience. Just make sure you shut up during the movie :) I also doubt that you would see a true movie of MLK in America either. I don't think a studio would ever greenlight a project that showed his adulterous side. It is all filtered the the "PC Sieve" of Hollywood.
