This is definitly the real issue. I once again am just amazed at the will-power and enthusiam behind all of us APs. It didn't take long and we are all jumping up to get that website up and running again. We definitly are a tight group, aren't we? :) But, like ~jez said, something went wrong, and that should be our first order of business. We might not get Dean back. But, we need to make sure that we understand what happened before we get all uppity and start crafting the return of polishchick.com. We need to be concerned with Dean first and foremost. We are a family, and something is wrong with one of our family members. Again, we might not get that family member back, but lets be sure we understand why before we spring into action. Lets worry about him before we worry about the website. That's my 2 cents worth... keep the change. I have it! hey there... since we're mentioning this kinna stuff, just thought i'd share with you guys that i've got a buncha poe stuff on original, not burnt, cd's, that include: + the rare 'angry johnny lassman' track from the now-defunct radio station the edge 96.3 minnesota + westwood radio show concert + trigger happy jack single (the black poe ball) which does NOT have padre fear (the case says it does. i feel gypped! (no offense to gypsies)) + the lounge-a-palooza compilation album with poe doing "a rose is a rose" + the great expectations soundtrack where "today" appears + the welcome to woop woop soundtrack mentioned above ("i cain't say no") + the 'don't be scared' promo + exploration #4 promo (songs from haunted, readings from HoL) and that's about all i can remember right now... i *might* have other stuff i haven't mentioned, but this is all i can remember off the top of my head, since i'm a few thousand miles away from my apartment (i'm visiting my parents in chile right now... dont' get back to west lafayette, indiana til the 18th of this month... a lil under 2 weeks)... i've burnt a POE compilation cd for my friends which includes all these poe tracks (minus the new promos, westwood radioshow, and thj remixes), running somewhere between 40-60 minutes. i really can't recall. i'd be glad to make copies of any of these cd's for any of my fellow APs... just drop me a line AFTER the 18th... and i'll see what i can do. peace, anfrey ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 06 Jul 2001 02:51:53 -0000 From: "The Little Indian Girl that Hails Saltines" Subject: Poe makes my mommy cry =) Hey everyone. Okay, this is kind of stupid and random and pointless...but SRP is my middle name =) Since I drive myself around nowadays I'm rarely in the car with my mommy...so today my mom and I went out to run som errands and I put in Haunted and told her the story behind the CD (about Poe and her father...) and then I played "If You Were Here" while waiting in line for gas at Costco (LOL!) and my mommy started to cry =*( I was like, "Success! My mom is a Poe fan now!" lol. Yeah, so I just thought I'd tell you all...'cause, umm, I don't have anything better to do right now. She mostly started to cry 'cause...well, my father's dad was kind of like Poe's dad...and my dad carries some of those traits (inability to tell people he loves them...). So we can kind of relate to the situation a lot...yeah. 'Nuff of that. hehe. byebye now! ~Ani _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 5 Jul 2001 23:03:57 EDT From: Trueluhv2000@aol.com Subject: Re: haunted cd In a message dated 7/5/01 6:58:50 PM Eastern Daylight Time, SailM1@aol.com writes: > I always wondered why my haunted cd was pink but all my friends were > black- is there any special reason for the color? > I don't have a pink one..and thats my fave color..I actually have two of the versions of haunted with the Drive by mix..one i bought myself, the other was a gift and BOTH are black and white!! for sobbing out loud!! :) luhv~n~stuff Carri ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 5 Jul 2001 23:06:42 -0400 From: "anfrey" Subject: #poe dalnet (poe.org chat) oh boy we are PACKED tonight... if you're not on #poe right now, get ur ass in there!! www.POE.org for access thru your web browser #poe on DALnet (irc.dal.net - ports 6667 thru 7000) peace, anf ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 6 Jul 2001 00:24:00 EDT From: PURPLMOJO@aol.com Subject: Re: Cd's for traci...*sob sob* but none for me Ya know atleast they did'nt steal your vehicle along with your cd's like they did me 4 months ago.. I love my new dodge stratus much better..So sometimes it's for the best. Look at how much psycho love you are experiencing now and maybe make some good friends out of the situation. i'm sure something good will come your way too, Karma works like that, just sometimes it's a little slow in coming..
