So I'm going to go ahead and introduce myself openly /finally/. I'll go ahead and do this now, according to the happy little intro thing I got in the welcome email. So, here we go. :) (1) Who you are? Dayl Eccles... yep, that's female (2) Where you're from? Lakewood, CO is where I live - just outside of Denver as one of the suburbs... (3) How old you are? 16 - simple enough (4) Where you first heard Poe? I heard "Hello" and "Angry Johnny" a while before I actually started listening to her CD. My brother had it as one of those CDs that he never listens to so I steal, and I just wanted to listen to it for kicks. His friend put it on, and I claimed it as mine after that. Mine. :) Sounds good, ne? So basically after I claimed the Hello CD my brother had (and lost only half the cover to... try and manage that), I bought Haunted the day it came out however many years later. Ah, it was good. So basically I've heard her for a while now. (5) What other musicians do you listen to? I can really tolerate anything but rap. :/ Rap just... no. I really love Garbage, Staind, Stabbing Westward, Incubus, Nine Inch Nails, Papa Roach. That's some of my favorites, even though I forgot a lot. There is also The Offspring, Goo Goo Dolls, /old/ Madonna (really don't like her new CD), Cold, etc, etc... you get the basic idea. -But now I'm going to name a few J-pop and rock bands. :) Is it just me, or does anyone else adore Japanese music/culture/anime/all counterparts...? A few J-bands that I like are Luna Sea, Dir en Grey, L'Arc en Ciel, Megumi Hayashibara, Move, The Brilliant Green, Chihiro Onitsuka, and more. I can recommend some to anyone if they want to hear (plus, Japanese bands are pretty easy for Napster downloads... much easier than American music that is blocked now). :D (6) Any other interesting information you wish to share? Uhh... I'm a concert-goer. I love interaction with people, even though it is a different kind. Put me in a group and I'll be silent, but if you're at a big "celebration" (I.E. after the Colorado Avalanche won the Stanley Cup >:) heh, heh, heh) or at a concert, I'm really happy. Concerts I've been to, including the ones I fell asleep at since I was forced to go: - -Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (fell asleep) - -Fleetwood Mac (fell asleep) - -Metallica - -Nine Inch Nails (A Perfect Circle opened for them) - -The Who (um, fell asleep) - -KBPI's Birthday Bash (had Nonpoint, Systematic, Clutch (GRR), hed (pe), Stabbing Westward, and The Offspring) - -was supposed to see Papa Roach, BUT their drummer broke his hand or something and it was cancelled :( - -Staind (Cold opened for them) who I saw the other night - -WILL see Stabbing Westward if I locate enough money, and if I don't then I will sit here and cry and pout and then maul people for tickets 0:) - -WILL see Poe :D of course So now I've babbled enough, but you get a basic idea. Oh, and I love anything to do with Japan. Been there once about a year ago and stayed with a host family. Went to Australia that same summer. >:) Spoiled, I swear... I don't show it, don't worry. ~Dayl Eccles, aka Rei _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 14 Jun 2001 22:53:21 +0000 (GMT) From: Cyberfan Corporation Subject: HAUNTED...
