I think that Hughes committed a huge disservice to Plath fans by destroying her journal entries written just three days before she died. It certainly makes you think that he was trying to hide something. Maybe he just wanted to protect his children. However, I'm sure that through reading Plath's work, they were already well aware of her state of mind. I'm always going to wonder what she wrote during those last days... Take LOTS of sunscreen!!! LOTS and LOTS of sunscreen!!! The venue is called the Sacramento Valley Amphitheater. Of all the places she will be appearing this would be the LAST on my list as far as venues, but it IS close!! (Kinda) I ran an ambulance service with offices in Sacramento, Marysville, Chico and Paradise. It can get brutal with heat that time of the year. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 12 Jun 2001 21:57:13 EDT From: JezebeIlnHeII@aol.com Subject: NPR Salmon Recipe As I said.. For one thing, if it was true, it would be all over MTV, local news programs and, I'm guessing, even networks like CNN, but . . .it's not. I've been watching MTV on and off all day, my dad watches CNN throughout the day and neither one of us heard a thing about this. I think someone has started a nasty rumor, one that is going to deeply upset millions of little kids. I think it's probably a safe bet to say this isn't true. If it is true, I myself would be really sad, but until then, I don't think I'll be too worried.
