And, there have been a number of people try to start seperate mailing lists, etc. and I don't know to what degree of success. I think the APs is more about a community with common interests, than just about poe news and poe related discussion. For news we go to one of the fine websites that provides news. To be part of a comunity we are on the mailing list. When the AP's first started, we were much smaller, and mailing lists were the big thing. It is a hair splitting issue, but talk about meeting POE , IS Poe related, at best it could be labled according to region as is often the case with WCAP or OAP, or the silent majority, NEAP, while disscussions about China are clearly NPR. Personaly I enjoy reading every piece of NPR, AP mail, when I have time. I was unable to get over to Fountainhead until 1 a.m. due to some transportation and organization problems. I just wanted to say I am sorry to any of you who were unable to get into Fountainhead. There were some changes in Poe's schedule that resulted in her and Mark arriving later than they had planned as well. But I just wanted you guys to know that I am terribly sorry if you waited around the East Atlanta area and were unable to get into the bar. Better planning next time. On a good note, it was wonderful to meet so many people at the show! It was such a fun show to see, and the fact that it was free was even cooler! To those of you who couldn't be there, you did miss a great show, but here is the good news - this whole town not only knows Poe, but most of them got to talk to her after her show! She went to the side of the stage after her performance and met fans for two and half hours (part of the reason she was a little later than planned but that is a pretty good excuse!!!), signing and just talking to them! There were tons of people standing there to meet her! It was so cool, and she was the only artist there to do anything like that. By the time she got to Fountainhead, she had almost lost her voice from talking to so many people. We passed out tons of the flyers and people were having her autograph them, so you know those things will be framed!! Wonderful show, wonderful exposure, and wonderful day to hang with the angry psychos! By the way, as she finished her set she said "Thank you 99X, and thank you angry psychos!" Last words out of her mouth before she left the stage! I hope to meet more of the Atlanta fans at the July 9th show at Hi-Fi Buys Ampitheater! Kristen P.S.
