That would freak me out. That may also account for why she often looked up to her right at the APs who were all standing and supporting...what was it you called her Sandra...the "Queen of groove"? Also nobody in attendance remembered to mention to the others on the list about our AP go-go dancers' performances prior to the Leno taping. hehe k. plexor wrote: > My other thoughts on her seeming nervous might also relate to her singing > the song live in a different composition to what she had gotten used to :) > but hey it happens to everyone, I for one dont like being the center of > attention even with a small group of people staring up at me :) ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 25 May 2001 00:17:10 EDT From: GaulAiel@aol.com Subject: Re: NPR: ready, aim, fire! The first gas crisis was orchestrated fer cryin' out > loud...this one is even more trumped up. > Wait a minute... Bush is sucking us dry??!! Where do you get that? How is he profiting from it? The fact is that this whole power/gas shortage has been building for YEARS. Face facts, because of the lack of our own oil production, we are at the mercy of foreign oil companies (OPEC) who have cut back the supply to raise prices. If we produced our own oil, this would not be a problem. But we haven't expanded our oil drilling facilities in 25 years. Why is that? Because Washington has been held back by environmental extremists and their democrat lackies. Whenever you have extremists influencing policy, you're going to end up in trouble. But this is just what the democrats wanted... high gas prices, to punish the wanton use of gasoline/oil. So if you support Clinton/Gore and oppose Bush, you should be happy about this situation. You definitely shouldn't be bitching about it. You got what you wanted. As far as energy in Cali, they are reaping what they have sown. They pandered to the environmental extremists and wouldn't build power plants despite the growth of the state's population. That's THEIR fault, and it's NOT the President's job to regulate power companies. Now Cali is relying on other states to violate EPA rules to give them power and they want to bitch about it? C'mon... get real. It's time for a reality check. There is a middle ground. Noone wants uncontrolled damage to the environment, but we also must be able to supply our population with the energy needed to exist. That's why Bush came out with his 100+ sugestions on how we approach this problem, where the majority of suggestions addressed conservation over expansion of energy consumption. But then again, some people don't want to look at the facts... instead they want to imagine that there is an evil empire in power bent on destroying the world. Give us all a break... ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 25 May 2001 00:42:56 EDT From: Prozackitty16@aol.com Subject: Viva' al amore...
