I'm usually not THAT unenthused...Yesterday I was really sick, every smile or laugh was a truly forced effort. Just standing up was hard. When we were all gathered around the table I was trying so hard not to fall over and since that was an effort in itself I really couldn't say more than a few words. I had been coughing so much that day and the day before that my stomach was weakened to a point where I couldn't talk or eat or smile without feeling really queasy. I know ya'll just needed to know that. I just felt really bad because I was so happy inside but felt like shit and really couldn't show it. I couldn't even manage to say that I am an AP...lol. The only person who figured it out was Sandra 'cause when we were talking to Poe outside of the store I told Sandra who I was 'cause we were supposed to meet there, but I ended up not calling her 'cause I fell sick so I wasn't even sure if i was going until 10AM yesterday morning. Of course, today I feel almost fine and by tomorrow I will hopefully be 99% better. I hope to see ya'll on June 5th, and hopefully at the Staples Center as well. Maybe I can actually talk then. Well, personally I tend to be rather open about being gay for a couple reasons. The main one being something that happened the other night when I was out at a bar with some friends and their aquaintences. When people know up front that you're gay, the odds of having to hear the gay jokes, the anti-gay remarks, blah blah blah decreases. Listening to that crap is just annoying. And when friends find out that someone in their 'clique' is gay, then that tends to help them realize that we're not all that evil. That's happened to me numerous times. Friends who used to make gay jokes, etc are now semi-activists. Kinda cool really. But that's just me. Yup, yours truly, and no, it wasn't a wet one. ;) Actually, quite innocent. See, I was back in my 5th grade classroom, which was really a portable, but there were a few of my high school friends there, and I'm not sure about the other students if they were 5th graders or other people my age (20ish), and the off thing was that it was an English class rather than a general education class like nigh all elementary classes are it was an English class (well I'm an English major right now...) an English class taught by some blonde Polish Chick. :) She was dressed (I'm remembering this now) not like she usuallly dresses, but more like an elementary school teacher would, or like how Donna Moss dresses on "The West Wing." :P So we were doing this end of the year sign ups for some presentations, and once we got finished with that, Teach wanted to introduce someone, and he happened to be sitting in a corner trying to be inconspicuous and Teach says, "Say Hello to the class, Mark" (actually, I don't know if she said that, it'd be nice though). I couldn't believe it! MZD! OMG! And I had forgotten my HOL!
