It has a removable player that is about as big as a cassette tape which is what you use like a Walkman. The larger unit that it plugs into has the CD ROM drive as well as hookups for your regular stereo system. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 27 Apr 2001 16:31:59 EDT From: KoriG@aol.com Subject: Re: MZD wins!!!! - Hey Mark, Lend me 10 bucks! I can't help but suspect they are holding back the others in fear they will be "stuck" with the other copies. :::::: bad, bad::::: KORi ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 27 Apr 2001 16:32:58 EDT From: JustSpiffy@aol.com Subject: NPR: the buffy conspiracy <> Oh yes.. James Marsters... gimme some of that. Anyway, have you ever noticed that where there is one Buffy actress, there must be another? Lets's start pre-Buffy. Eliza Dushku (Faith, on Buffy) appeared in the movie Bye Bye Love, as did the girl who plays Tara. Sarah Michelle (Buffy) and Michelle (Dawn) were both on All my children, as was Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia) Eliza Dushka (Faith again) was recently in Bring It On (Actually, not a bad movie. of course, I was a cheerleader in high school so I'm biased.) Also in the film is the girl who now plays super-villian Glory. It;s a conspiracy. Sarah Michelle Gellar was in Cruel Intentions with Selma what's her name, who used to be on a sitcom on the WB. I can imagine those actors/actresses get a lot of flack for being on such mooshy gooshy teeny bopper shows...making it hard to hit the big screen. But like JustSpiffy pointed out...the majority of them are finding their way up... And Charmed always has kick-ass music, it's no wonder Poe got some airplay from them. They have EXCELLENT taste! I think most of the shows are a little on the *cheeseball* side but they are fun to watch and sheesh...what else is on these days? Sitcoms are coming and going faster than you can say "anbesol". Nothing will ever top Friends though. I still watch the reruns every night at 7:00 on Fox. In my book, this is the #1 sitcom, ever. Most of you probably don't agree and that's understood, so let's not beat that subject to death, k? I guess now I'm one of the senseless ramblers... Yup, first on "Zoe, Jack, and Jane" (and some other guy.... I forget... show sucked royally) and then they tried to give her "Zoey" on her own. (Better, but still didn't fill the bill.) >Sarah Michelle was also in "Simply Irresistable" with none other than Amanda >Peet, the lovely Jack from the WB's Jack and Jill. Man, as much as I adore Sean Patrick Flanery in a most slobbering way, that movie SO sucked. I cannot understand what made either of them sign on to it. (Actually, I think it was made quite a while before it's release, and had been shelved because it sucked so badly, but then Sarah's career picked up and the studio put it on out there.) And poor Sean. Like one in 10 of his roles are decent. No one can ever accuse him of being a snob when it comes to taking roles. Same for Amanda Peet. Crap role after crap, but the industry is still very much behind her. (Another coinkidink: Sean and Amanda played opposite each other in the flick "Body Shots", with Tara Reid, of "Josie" fame, for one, (with Rachel Leigh Cook, star of "She's All That", opposite Gellar's fiance, Freddie Prinze Jr., and also appeared on "DC" briefly,) as well as her role in "American Pie", co-starring such people as Alyson Hannigan, "Willow"....) OK, I'm getting dizzy. I gotta go lie down, or else I'll bring someone like Seth Green into the equation and give myself a seizure.
