Yes... Juliana Hatfield, originally in the Blake Babies, then left to form
the Juliana Hatfield Three, then solo, and now she and the other members of
the Blake Babies have reunited... well, maybe not completely, but for at
least one album and tour.

LOL. Poor Duncan.so many musicians mock and slag on him. Many consider him
to be, (or in time will become,) a gen-X John Denver or Barry Manilow. I feel
terrible for giggling when we get into it, but I simply can't NOT get tickled.
As for Jeff Buckley, long story short. Don't get me started. Fucking genius.
Everyone should have a copy of "Grace" in the same way that everyone should
own "Blond On Blond" or "Tapestry". (OK, if those references didn't register
with some of you other there, think in terms of, say, "Thriller" or PJ's
"TEN" or "The Joshua Tree". Get the picture?) I hate to see the excessive
idololizing of entertainers, but he and his music were so much stronger, an
actual "force" That did not end when he died. Sure, we would have loved to
get more material out of him, but for me at least, "Grace" still resonates
today as much as when I first bought it, and I honestly think I will feel the
same affect 20 years from now and beyond.

I swear if I hear anymore 420 shit, I am going to explode. This list is
supposed to be about Poe. Does she talk about 420, or about Hitlers birthday?
Personally I don't think that she would appreciate this nonsense. I have
family that had to experience the ghetto's and concentration camps. My
grandfather wrote a book about it. It is making my stomach wrench to hear you
guys talk about this crap. I thought as angry psychos we were supposed to an
alliance for a popular hobbie or obsession. All this shit is making me feel
very ANGRY and wanting to go PSYCHO on you ignorant, scum.

hi...i can't not say anything about all the cool stuff i've been hearing
about the Virgin Suicides!!!
i actually was very surprised to see it just as i finished reading the book!!
and i'm very very happy!!
because i watched it with some friends and they were like. ugh. that was
stooooopid
and i was like. "oh my god! i have to read the book! i love this movie!"
i actually learned about the movie because of the soundtrack, i'm a big fan
of AIR french band so i got all these emails when the soundtrack came out
(they are releasing a new CD... next month i think, i cut it out)
and regarding the 4/20 stuff... this day has gotten to be worse than friday
the 13th......
and personally... i don't smoke pot... i don't like it...but... if you wanna
do it then do it- i just don't want to hear about it. do i announce that i'm
taking my midol every month? or that i'm ripping the tags off of my mattress?
i don't like how its glorified with all kinds of hemp t-shirts and 4/20
merchandise... a little too commercial....
but i have to agree... the potheads i know are going no where fast... but
that applies to just about most drugs.
and. i know lots of people that don't even drink and they are going no where
also. so. i don't know. thats my view of the world. well- off to eat pizza
and play sonic shuffle with the boyz. :) -Shari

Poe is gaining popularity every day! I heard " hey pretty" on 104.5 FM in
Montgomery Alabama last night. It was the version with her brother talking in
it. The DJ said it was a most requested song. If Poe can make it in the Bible
belt just think how well she must be doing through out the US and abroad. Keep
up the good work crew!

Oh hell yes.
what are your favorite Buckley songs? Mine are Lover you SHould've come over, NIghtmares by the Sea, Dream Brother, of course, Grace, and even though he didn't write it Halleilujah is absolutly haunting.

so i was driving tonight and listening to radio104 in CT. I was stunned when they announced the #6 most wanted song was "Hey Pretty." I'm just surprised by the fact that Poe wasn't even exist at this station a couple months back. and, now she's #6. WOOHHOOOO...my surprise did not stop here, yet. I went to visit their website afterward. guess what i found? they have Poe's Hey Pretty video to download right at their very front page. i thought i was just dreaming, till i slapped myself repeatedly in the face. PSYCHOS, i urge you all to go to their site www.radio104.com and request her song and make her rise to #1. i can see that day coming.

Right on, and well-put. I agree with everything, except for the "scum" part.
I, personally, don't mind some NPR stuff, but let's try not to beat dead
horses. Let's just....smack them around a few times. Dead horses are fun to
abuse.....wha??? Eeeek.
As for Poe, when I see her in concert on June 30th, and she sings "haunted",
and she sings what I call the "orgasm part", where it goes, "...and I will
always miss youoooOOOOHHHHH", I will burst into tears. Tears of happiness
and exquisite joy! Poe is a miracle.
Love,

Well, let the damned thread die a timely death then. Why did you bring it up

Yes I do realize it may be a little far fetched... but could anyone and
everyone tell Poe that I want to invite her to the National Cherry Festival.
Really she is welcome anytime, but the festival would give a good excuse for
an invite that would usually seem even more outragous. :)
If any of you actually speaks with her, please let her know that one of her
psycos, is hoping.
Thank you

Subject: RE: Atlanta Show!!! - Please come to NC!!!!
I think it's a bust for me. I live in Greensboro, NC. Atlanta is 6 hours and
DC 7 hours if traffic is good. The worst part is neither Atlanta or DC is on
a weekend, so we would both have to miss work and neither of us get
sick/vacation days - just lose the bucks. Hotel, gas, tickets and meals for
2 is probably over $200, plus a lost pay and ouch...
I really hoped for a date in Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill or
Roanoke, VA (only a little over 2 hours). Or at least a weekend date in
Atlanta or DC.
North Carolina is the 11th most populous state - so not sure why. I know, we
have tobacco, Jesse Helms, way too much country music and Nascar. (we did
not get a Border's tour either and the Atlanta was on a weeknight...)
But did you Wilmington, NC is the #3 filmmaking city in the US after LA and
NY?
Very Bummed in NC...
