I have a job now which means that I can afford those tickets and I am even going to camp outside ticketmaster the night before they go on sale so that I can buy good seats and then I am going to buy backstage passes so that I can meet her.....should she decides to agree to meet her fans. But, either way I am going to go and I am going to sit close enough that if she decides to pull me on stage to make out with me or anything, she can do so. Not that I am saying that she would, but if she does want to I want the option to be avilable to her. That's me, mr. courteous. *smiles* I can't wait! Don't buy tickets till you read!!!! I am VERY concerned that some of you MAY end up being disappointed!! This is the tour I have been alluding to for the last couple weeks. The thing you have GOT to remember is that this tour is not signed yet. As was reported the BAND wants Poe to open, but there are financial pressures to have another band open. Thanks to the work we have done partly everyone is giving Haunted and Poe a second look, the sales numbers even before the video are impressive. This tour has gone from a 40% possibility when first reported to an 80% possibility now. The decision is due Wednesday. As SOON as I get the word I will post confirmation. For now this is what Fishkin has said regarding the Dallas quote: dan, nothing new. it's great that he acknowledged poe was being considered strongly but the problem remains with snake river because it's a 2 act show not 3. looking like we may get half the tour...but nothing is set.....paul fishkin. While near the counter, I saw a music-type magazine so I picked it up and leafed through it. And there, right in front of my face, was an article on Poe!!! She was talking about the making of Haunted and her father. At the end, she made a comment about wanting to tour. I was so shocked that I tried to buy the magazine, until my friend gave me this look and said, "Ummm, it's free. You don't have to pay for it." Just thought I'd let you know. It's the March/April issue with Radiohead on the cover. I guess it's available at Journeys, if anyone wants to check it out. Sorry to re-examine an old wound, but I actually went to see Josie and the Pussycats on Thursday, despite the Carson Daly issue. It really wasn't bad. It looked to me like they did know what they were doing as far as the instruments went and the acting wasn't bad. It wasn't exactly like the cartoon or the comic and they were both eluded to quite often, but it wasn't to the point that you wanted to kill the writers. I actually would reccomend it. Once again, sorry about this, but I thought I'd defend a movie that really isn't that bad. I think it did a good job of keeping with the characters except it was a little less "caperish" than the cartoon and comic (I am more familiar with the cartoon). I missed the pesky cat from the cartoon (can't remember his name) but that would have been hard to bring to the screen. The only thing that felt weird at the movie was the fact that me and the guy I saw it with were the oldest people in the theater. I HIGHLY suggest this movie.
