If the video were released with just Poe's audio and video, it might make it. This has been my rambling OPINION. I still think Walk the Walk will make a cool video. My concepts include getting the rights to some of the "silly walks" from Monty Python... At least I didn't wait as long as the last 2 times (the time before this it was 750 e-mails...and before that 1063...lol..) Yeah. I just don't check my mail that often. I used to, but, umm, got bored? I dunno. Ever since I got back from India just can't check my mail...lol. (India was in late Jan-early Feb)I wonder if anyone remembers me...I introduced myself a while ago (3 or 4 months? I have no idea...) but I never e-mailed the list after that I don't think...maybe once. Anyway, I've got this e-mail split into half Poe related and half not for your convenience. lol. Poe related: Okay...I do believe I'm the only person on this list that still has not heard the Drive-By remix of "Hey Pretty." See...I don't have Napster and Real Players don't work on my computer so d-loading the video is out...and I also have zero $$...so buying the cd with it on it is also out. If you'd like to donate $$ to the Ani-Needs-Money-To-Buy-Music---I mean, Ani-Needs-Money-To-Buy-Food-For-Her-Poor-Little-Innocent-Starving-Cat-Fund, feel free to send checks or cash (no money orders) to...I wish. I wish. I wish. Umm, anyway, back to my point (the other side of Ani's brain is now asking "you had a point?") soooo, when can I see the video on TV? I don't have M2. lol. Next...is that WCAP thing happening? I mean...is anything set in stone yet? date? time? place? If someone could let me know I'd appreciate it. Also, I read something (not very carefully) about CA psychos doing something (like I said...not very carefully...) What is this all about? lol. Pleeease enlighten me! Last in the Poe related section...If anyone has Poe stuff taped (Loveline, anyting, ANYTHING...) and wouldn't mind taping/sending me stuff for a VERY low cost, lol, please let me know. Fat chance but worth a shot. On to the Non-Poe-related stuff now... NPR: Has anyone seen the Broadway version of The Lion King? I saw it for the first time yesterday. I loved it, thought it was wonderful, creative, powerful, bla, bla, bla. I'm so lame...must've pissed off the guy next to me (although he didn't show it) 'cause I sang along to every song. (I have the Original Cast Recording and for the past few months have been listening to it non-stop) Not to be critical of anyone...but I like the Nala in the original cast better than the L.A. one...I just felt the Nala in the L.A. one could've added more dynamics and emotion into "Shadowland." Maybe it was just me. I just prefer the original's voice. Rafiki was awesome. Man, that woman is insane. Her name is Fuschia. That's all. Just Fuschia. lol. And she does all this awesome African chanting. It was so cool. The Young Simba was sooooooo adorable as was the Young Nala. When I first heard the Lion King was coming to L.A. I thought it'd suck...be a flop, I didn't think it was possible to do such an amazing job with it, but it was done and I was proven wrong. The costumes were the most impressive. My personal favorite (costume-wise) were the hyenas and the giraffes. The person who played Timon was really good at handling his puppet...he put so much expressive movement into it. It was fun fun fun. Just thought I'd put that out there...for no particular reason at all. I think that is all that's on my mind right now. Don't forget to donate money to the Ani-Needs-Money-To-Buy-Food-For-Her-Poor-Little-Innocent-Starving-Cat-Fund! Thanks! byebye ~*~*~*~*~*Ani*~*~*~*~ P.S. Are there any Nina Gordon or Veruca Salt fans on this list?
