see the term "Riverdale Productions" there? I did.
Yep, there it is. I paused video playback. "A Marc Platt/Riverdale

This can only mean one thing -- FURTHER Riverdale productions.
Archie....Juggie....Ronnie...Betty....Reggie.... (too many 'eeee' ending

This is dangerous. I may go see the Josie movie just because I love movies

Okay, enough of that kind of thinking for this morning ;-D

YES SIR!!! The Dent has to be one of the best sites out there. I'm just wondering why there's such a power struggle if there is one. We're all here because we share a common love for Poe, and for music, in general.
Anyway, I'm just rambling too...

Lily and others who have made an intelligent response to my posting...
I always respect others opinions as being that. Those of you who actually
read all of what I said seemed to have grip on reality. Thank you for
realizing what that post meant.
I am very fortunate that I have had many opportunities to meet inspiring and
exciting souls in the entertainment business as well as in day to day life. I
myself try not to be quick to pass judgment but I realize it is only human to
do so. Try to see things at different angles... I often wonder when people
judge on someone's entertainment business do they not realize that it is just
that? entertainment? Kid Rock certainly isn't losing any sleep over what
critics say about him... he with his first major release went 8 times
platinum. There are quite a few fans out there I would have to say... and you
know what? No one should hold these people up high like they are any
different or better than others... They are just people who put their pants
on one leg at a time like you do. They are just following their innate dreams
and displaying amazing talent. So maybe instead of passing that kind of
judgment off so easily...take a look inside, see what desires and ambitions
you have to offer yourself and this world...and spread it around...

I couldn't agree more about laughing at someone's death, and
I was somewhat disturbed about the fact that that comment was attatched to my
e-mail. As for the asshole thing, maybe it's just that I don't know the real
him, but I do know the side of him that he presents to the public, and maybe
asshole is too strong a word. From what I know of him, he's a chauvinist who
shows no respect for women, but then again, I don't know him personally or
anything. Maybe it was wrong of me to pass judgment, but I'm just going on
what I percieve as his personality, and i don't like it. Once again, I didn't
mean anything malicious by it, andI'm sorry if I offended anyone, especially
you, Dawn : )

You're so lucky.
Around Philadelphia you do not hear much of POE at all, except on WXPN, 88.5
and that is NPR, (National Public Radio) not (Not Poe Related). They mix it
up alot with eclectic mix, and every once in a while will play P*E.

The tour that was posted was an April Fools joke. HOWEVER, there IS a tour!!
Poe has been invited to play at several Spring/Summer radio festivals and
there is a tour beginning that wants Poe as the opener. This bands label
though wants Snakeriver Conspiracy as the opener since they are on the same
label. They are duking it out.
REGARDLESS of how this works out Poe IS about to tour! Remember my post a
few weeks ago ( around 3/10) that Atlantic had approved the funding for the
video with a tour to immediatly follow the release of the video. The video
is shot and in final editing.
One exciting item that is in the works is an AP only concert. There will be
more information to follow.
We are ALMOST there folks!!! Hang in there!

OH MY GOD i am in love with duncan sheik. he is amazing.
i loved his first album, the second kinda grew on me but then he didnt
really hold up -- but with this new album, once again im infatuated. this
is his best yet. im sorta pissed off about him not writing the
lyrics--some of the songs have amazing music but the lyrics could jive a
little more and i think they would if he wrote them. sad steven's song is
the most amazing and calming and simply beautiful thing i have heard in a
long time.
the freaks that made his touring schedule forgot dc, so i have to go way
up to annapolis to see him, but its by far worth it.
long live duncan,

someone with brains and is still hilarious. if anyone outside of the
dallas/ft. worth area cares to listen to her genius, you can hear her online
at kdge.com from 2?-7 every weekday. not sure what her weekend schedule is.
as for poe & mark...they're also supposed to be attending edgefest
(basically a local lollapalooza of some fairly big name bands) this year.
at least that's what they said in the interview that jessie did with them a
few weeks ago.

Ok..so I've been working in the same damn record store for five mts... and
have only sold one copy of haunted, (we had about three copies and only one
copy of hello..now we are down to just one copy of haunted) There is a lot
of stealing that goes on in the store I work in but we usually dont catch
them. WEll...TODAY we caught two kids..a guy and a girl..and one of the DAMN
cd's they were trying to steal was the one and only copy of haunted we have
in the store! I was so angry!! Poe deserves all the record sales in the
world more than anyone. Out of respect for my favorite artists I would never
steal from them..especially since they aren't selling 7 million cds like
"britney" and their record companies give them shit for it.
Anyway, I just thought overall it was pretty funny...the one person who
wants the cd goes and friggin steals it...well tried to at least. PEOPLE
BEWARE...cd's do have inside tags in addition to outside ones you can so
easily rip off.
Apologizing once again for the long and drawn out email:)
