Who is Michael Rolston? Who is Matthew Rolston? When Kevin let it slip that Matthew Rolston was going to direct the video for "Shape Of My Heart," I decided to find out a little bit about him. Matthew Rolston has some pretty impressive videos under his belt: M2M's "Mirror, Mirror," Jewel's "Jupiter," Madonna's "The Power of Goodbye" to name just the most recent. He also directed the Gap Khaki Swing commercial. Matthew Rolston first gained fame as a still photographer, shooting beauty and fashion layouts for high-profile magazines such as Harpers Bazaar, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, Interview, W, and Details. In addition to his magazine work, print and television ads, he now directs award-winning music videos for such artists as Jewel, Morrisey, Salt-N-Pepa, En Vogue, and Marilyn Manson. -Samantha Penney Source : http://members.nbci.com/_XMCM/agarc/mvdb/index.htm - mvdbase.com - the music video database Source: http://www.gap.com - Gap.com Submitted By: Samantha Penney ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 26 Mar 2001 23:40:55 EST From: JustSpiffy@aol.com Subject: RE: New Member :) NPR Sid....... It seems to me that everyone is getting worked up about such a simple thing. Yes, the "popular" kids (those whose high schools had them) do belittle the unpopulars. But if you were an unpopular, I am willing to bet you my life savings that you insulted the populars too! Just not as a public spectacle. Kids will always tease each other and you know what? We all grow up (for the most part). I don't care if you were a sporto, a motorhead, a geek, a slut, a blood, a waistoid, a dweebie, or a dickhead. You all made fun of someone else. So none of us are any better than the next. What truly seperates the kids from the adults are the ones who have apologized and/or accepted apologies instead of hanging on to an ancient grudge. We all had tough times and we all get over them. Most of us grow up and let go of the hatred.
